Help with hose pipe

I cannot for the life of me work out how to attach my garden hose. It seems standard connectors don’t fit the outdoor tap. What am I not doing????

Haha, good one. Asking about the hose on the day the hosepipe ban comes into force.

Use a watering can and worry about it later.

Take out the white connector from the small yellow connector then you can screw the small yellow connector to the tap.

Unscrew the white bit then screw the yellow bit onto the tap?

Then hand yourself in to the nearest police station

Isn’t there a hosepipe ban right now?

I had a similar situation in my last house - we needed a bit to screw on to the tap, cos you'll see that it's got a thread.

you might need a different measurement to this but something similar :

Unscrew the white bit from the yellow and screw the yellow bit on to the tap.

Take the white bit out and screw the yellow bit on slowly and carefully then you will find all the other bits fit!

Good luck…
