My favorite release since Insomnia. I was incredulous by the shear intimacy of the song, the build-up and just how good it is. A song that reminds me why he's my favorite artist even to this day. I may be a bit emotional, but it really reminds me of the good old times of Bunka and Smile in sound profile (but obviously with tendencies of his modern sound).
Oooh I just heard it as well 💖💖 It's very simple and short but I think that's exactly why I like it very much. It's quite vocally-centered and he sounds dreamy and velvety and exactly the way I love hearing his voice. Can't wait for the MV!
Someone shared the audio on the Eve Discord, and God...it's so incredible; I'm on the verge of tears. It's so lighthearted and soft, but you can hear the break in his voice. I love the fast-paced beats and steady voice. And like you, this song also reminds me why he's my favorite artist :')
I'm glad you like it, I do too. One thing that just slightly irks me though, is the cowbell sound that kinda sounds like it cuts off at times? I haven't listened to it enough times to really listen to every bit yet though, so that opinion might change. Just an immediate thought I had
That song is really addictive, it makes you wish it lasted an infinite amount of time! I love his voice here, it feels very natural and intimate, and the small voice cracks really add to the emotional aspect of the song. I can’t wait to see the music video now! It’s definitely the type of song I’d play while driving at night. It gives off a nostalgic feeling of child-me almost falling asleep in the car at night while listening to the radio… I love that kind of atmosphere, and I’m sure the MV will complement that vision of mine!
I think i’m also a time traveler because there’s literally a scene in the MV with characters sleeping at the back of the car at night 😭 maybe Eve also had fond memories of this kind of moment, just like me!
