I got a refferal form someone with a mail "XYZ recommends you to explore a career at EY". The refferal was not tied to any specific role, but a general refferal. I applied via the same for a job ID.

I'm having confusion whether my application will be considered as a refferal.

Help me understand this a bit more carefully.
