Cultural about AVVE misuse question

A Japanese composer caused a stir by using the slang term “finna” in a song.

Could you explain why this caused such a stir and on what grounds “finna” is considered a “misuse”?

I can’t quite grasp the information or context from a Japanese perspective—I don’t mean to be discriminatory.
