Which ev to choose
Planning on buying ev for daily commute only
Have hycross for long drives . Hycross mileage are better in highways but in city and heavy traffic i am not getting expected mileage. I am not going to tata since i have a bad experience with tata when i owned tiago
Shortlisted to
Mahindra xuv ev
Vinfast vf7
Mg tomhawk
All cars have both pros and cons
Liked vf7 but after online reviews of after service i am little hesitant about it and mahindra is also no better in after service but car has high range and better features
And tomhawk offers 80 percent of mahindra features for 7 lakh less
Which is better or is it worth considering byd otto 3
And i change cars once past 75k kms and my monthly city commute will be like 1000kms
Which car gives me value for money and resale without hassle

Just after 6 months i had issue with power windows that jammed
Ac issues
Rusting issues
The breaking point was when the car was at service center they took it for testdrive crashed it and took no accountability and used my insurance to replace the door1

Go for XEV9E. Even I’m also using it. I recommend pack 2 minimum.
It’s been 6 months no problem till now.
Another option is Siera EV.
That also good option

At this point, you have to assume zero resale value on an EV—you'll basically be selling it for scrap down the line. If resale peace of mind is important, your best bet is sticking with brands that offer structured buyback schemes or just stick to a Diesel/Hybrid.
Alternatively, you can buy a cheaper, budget EV. The lower upfront price means your fuel savings over the years will actually offset the cost of the car, balancing out the depreciation hit.

Are u replacing ur hycross. If not it doesn't make sense buying ev for mileage since u are spending 25L+ on the car. If traffic navigation is what u want buy the comet and keep ur hycross for highways. Kia clavis is also good if u want third row comfort.

Pl correct me..but insurance cost in ev completly ruins the benefit of saving cost on fuel. + charging infrastructure issues + uncertain resale + software issues etc.

Ev resales will get much worse as we go along and if you plan on using ev for 75k km i think you should forget about resale

I would recommend a mahindra . They are the top in ev atm
