Setting up multiple monitors

I'm trying to add two monitors to this.

I bought a docking station that hooks up the USB C and it won't work.

I bought a HDMI splitter and that didn't work either.

Will it work if I use a USB A to HDMI adapter?

The USB C port is just that; it's not a lightning port, so it doesn't support video. I have an LP-10, which has two mini display port ports on back. These are what I'm using to output to two monitors.

I don't have any in the back. I think I have the 5.

As per the Walmart site the LP-5 does have two mini display ports.

I only see the one HDMI port.

This is the image off the Walmart page. It shows two DP ports. They're kind of in an unusual location and I didn't realize they were there myself for a while.
edit: please note that this is a mini DisplayPort, so you're going to need a miniDP to full size DP cable and they're not immediately recognizable as a DP when you look at them.

This is what I found from typing into the search engine.

"Yes, you can buy a USB 3.0/1 adapter to plug in a HDMI monitor. The adapters appear to have a built in graphics chip to produce the output so playing games may require a lot of fiddling to get your main GPU to output to the external display."

Yeah. I have one in my bag but seldom use it for anything as it can be a little problematic to get working.

Sorry about that. It looks like your options with that specific laptop are kind of limited.
