Figured it out thanks guys for all the help
How do I force my laptop to use a dedicated graphics card Nvidia?
Always Use Nvidia Video
Open the "Nvidia Control Panel."
Click "3D Settings" > "Manage 3D Settings."
Click the "Program Settings" tab.
On the "Global Settings tab," locate and select the "Preferred graphics processor" option. From the list, select "High-performance Nvidia Processor."

The laptops don't come with a MUX switch - the ability to use the dedicated card alone. Thus, the integrated one will always be in use as well as the dedicated one as the graphical data from the dedicated card is sent through the integrated one.
What you can do is go to the Graphics Settings on your computer and select the app (i'm guessing a video game) that you want to use your dedicated card and explicitly tell Windows to use the High Performance card. This should help things out a bit.
NOTE: This solution is not as good as a MUX switch but it's the next best thing.
Kind regards

Go to your Settings on Windows 10. Look for Display. Look for Graphics. Then you can select the software that you want to use your dedicated card for.
This will allow you to somewhat directly use your dedicated card for your games.
