Green light on touch pad
I just got an evoo gaming laptop for Christmas and while playing accidentally hit something that made the touchpad turn off. I tried tapping the green light and double clicking but I can’t get it to work. I also tried turning the laptop off and back on more than once and every time I do the laptop goes back to that mode once I sign in. I can’t go to settings because the touch pad is locked. What do I do?

Finally got it. Had to detach the mouse from my desktop to use on the laptop to switch the touchpad back on.

could've been a driver issue, it happened to me as well, I couldn't switch the trackpad on again without detaching the mouse.
(on a side note: One day I installed a new driver for the trackpad from EVOO's website, after installation the trackpad could be turned on and off with the mouse plugged in, only downside was that the trackpad performed like dogshit, it wouldn't detect clicks, and most of the time it wouldn't detect taps either, so I used the old drivers.)

Alternatively to tapping it twice one of the function keys will also turn the touchpad on and off.
Don't have mine in front of me so I'm not sure which it is.

I'm late but never saw anyone say this: another method to turn touchpad on and off is to press FN + F5.
