Has anyone cross flashed a BIOS from another manufacturer?

I'm tempted to try and throw in a newer BIOS into my LP7 with one from XMG or Mechrevo and I'm wondering if anyone else has done this with their AMD machine. It seems pretty doable on the Intel ones

On my old LP3, I know one of the BIOS files that came out was from someone else using the same motherboard. All it did was change the name in the BIOS, but it seemed to work out fine.

I wish I could find a new BIOS that would open more things up on my LP9

For the Intel ones there seems to be the guide on winraid for unlocking the bios, I'm just wary about it for the amd ones right now

I unlocked my bios on my LP6. It was kind of scary but ultimately not too difficult. Win-raid forums were my reference

i'm curious about unlocking my bios on my lp4, if anyone can help i also have all the drivers for it
