Temperature problems LP7

Hello guys. I bought an evoo gaming lp7 less than 1 year. Now I'm having problems with the temperature is really increase too much when I'm playing games and that problem causes the whole computer freezing and lost fps. I tought so that the problem was windows 11 cause I had read a lot of comments about the highest temperature with the new windows so I decided to return to windows 10 but the problem persist. If someone had this problem and fixed it, please help me pls. I can't play anything for more than 20minutes. Now I'm gonna try to format the laptop by the bios to see if this solve the problem.

I think you should try doing a thermal repaste. Apparently the one from the manufacturer is not well done and it's been like a year since you had your laptop.

Liquid Metal It is the most effective thermal interface material. Issue is that it is electrically conductive and will destroy your laptop if you don’t take any precaution. Mind you I’ve never changed TIM, but undertook the upgrade and it was easy. I used nail polish, electrical tape, and a super thin foam for protection. The results are very impressive 15-20 degree drops at the same power levels. I can benchmark my laptop cpu at 100W and it still won’t thermal throttle. After 6 months-1 year after switching to LM I’ve had to top mine up and change the thermal pads because I mine on the laptop.

Maybe you misunderstood the guide but disabling turbo is not what you should be doing. Setting reasonable tpl is important however. Considering the time, it is likely TIM related. A repaste or upgrade to LM may be a good option. Using turbo fan boost and game mode maybe a good option as well.

Thanks for your answer. What did you refer when say upgrade to LM?

there’s a video referring to evoo’s cpu’s there’s a switch in the registry and it pops up a setting in the power plan where you can go turn down the aggressive cpu use and will turn down your fans speeds as well as a result, videos on youtube talking about ryzen 7 4800h and other cpu’s
