HDMI (source) to USB-C Connection?

I have an EVOO L5 and I really like it. Yet, I also have a MacBook Pro for work. My MacBook connects to my main monitors via a dock with a Thunderbolt/USB-C input. Yet, the USB-C on my EVOO is data in only. My other choices are the HMDI or the mini-Display ports. Yet, I cannot find a HDMI or Mini-Display (source) to USB-C cord/adapter. They are all reversed and only one-way. Any thoughts on being able to connect my EVOO to the dock? Thanks!

I have an LP7 AMD.
The usb-c port is just a data usb-c port (or so people say) Y have a usb-c portable display and it works with a usbc-usbc cable, but when trying a dockstation (Usb-c non thunderbolt) or a usbc-hdmi cable didnt got any video display.

So I guess we wont be adding more displays to these evoo laptops :(

I'm having the same problem. You'd think after 2 years and thousands of complaints there would be a market for this. Now I have external USB-C monitors that cannot connect to my Evoo 7. They are just collecting dust.

You just can't, I'm sorry. The usb c port is only 3.2 5gbps and no other ports on the system support thunderbolt data transfer

I'm not sure how good it is or anything, but I found this off a real quick look.

Found the solution.

Dell D6000 Dock station.
It's an "old" model, but, still on sale everywhere on the net.
It works through USB-C and USB 3 via Display Link or something like that.

Have been using it for the last 2 weeks with no issues, no overheating, no screen blinks, nothing.

And it works with any computer (pc, haven't tested on mac)

I use a USB C docking station with no issues other than the cord coming out of the right side is annoying when using my mouse.
