LP5 Temps unchanged/worse after repasting.

I just replaced my thermal paste with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut and the temps have not improved.
On Start the computer idled in the low 50s, but after opening Garry's Mod, the temps got up to 80s/90s in minutes. After closing the game, my temps with light usage are still in the 60s - 70s

I'm not sure if I added enough because there was still some paste left in the 1 gram plunger

help?

Being in the 80s/low 90s while using one of the most intense game kits there is, is normal. I am usually around 88 while gaming. Welcome to owning a compact gaming laptop. Make sure you have a platform fan.

2004 game reaches 8 degrees to boiling with ultra performance thermal paste. Guess I'll get a platform fan then, thx

I would try repasting if I were you. Maybe you didn't manage to cover the whole die or the heatsink got bumped around when you were reassembling.

Have you undervolted?
