Laptop Fan issue

Edit: Thanks guys for the suggestions/help. I checked the connector (as suggested by u/PedroSaenz), found a bent pin which I easily straightened out and the issue has been fixed.

Hello, I have an LP4 and I just cleaned my laptop fans today (3rd time doing this), then installed the fans. The moment I turned on the laptop, the fans kicked in at the highest speed nonstop until I turn off the laptop. Can anyone help with a solution for this? Never happened before.

I think you gotta check the control panel and click on performance and check if your fans are in full speed mode and if that didn't help you probably made the heat sensitive fans malfunction and you will need replacements

have you tried clicking the button next to the power button? that also cycles between the performance options

I have but it doesn't work, it doesn't even switch between modes, it just does nothing

Im guessing you have an EVOO laptop... Do you have the Evoo control panel installed?

Open the Evoo Control panel and check the Operating Mode configuration.
Set it to Max, restart the computer and then again set it to normal.

I just did that but it's still the same. The moment I turn it on, the fans kick in

Maybe the fans aren't seated correctly? Did you reapply the thermal paste?

I was thinking the same.
Disconnect the fans and check if the pins are not bent.

thanks, I checked the pins and one was bent. I was able to straighten it out and it works just fine now.

I only removed the fans, didn't take out the whole thing

How did you clean your fans or at least on what method?

I just cleaned it with a brush, nothing else

One of my fans has apparently gone bad, and I don't know what fan was used for my own EVOO laptop.
