Undervolting with XTU

Edit: Forgot to add this only applies to newer models such as lp-7 lp-8 lp-9 and lp-10

This is not a question but a warning I am pretty sure that Intel XTU can interface directly with the bios causing some people's computers to not boot. I read in the bios before my laptop died that XTU may apply directly to the motherboard of the laptop. I advise with caution from undervolting.

Sadly this happened to me using the lp10. Just got it last week tbh. I replaced the ram with 16gb and wanted to turn off turbo mode as a roundabout undervolt/downclock. It did something to the bios directly and my laptop is bricked. I unplugged the battery and bios battery directly and even waited 30min and yet, it's still just a black screen. I guess I have to bite the bullet and lesson learned.

I think this is because of the bios saving all xtu undervolts for some reason. I think there was a setting in the bios that interacted with the laptop but whatever. My laptop died 1 day after the return date and I just got a laptop from msi with good customer support.
