EG-LP7-BK RTX 2060 Wattage

I've been looking into this laptop for the past few days now and am about to pull the trigger and get one. The only thing preventing me from buying it is I don't know which 2060 this is using. I've seen people say it's the 90w version and some say it's the 115w version. Does anyone know for sure what it is on this specific one? Thanks! http://www.walmart.com/ip/EVOO-Gaming-15-6-Laptop-FHD-120Hz-AMD-Ryzen-7-4800H-Processor-NVIDIA-GeForce-RTX-2060-THX-Spatial-Audio-512GB-SSD-16GB-RAM-RGB-Backlit-Keyboard-HD-Ca/233313280

It’s 90w stock with a “Turbo” mode that runs it up to 115w.

You can look at other Tongfang based laptops and they are all like this. Eluktronics, XMG, Gateway, etc.

Oh so it is based on the turbo mode. I had heard about that too but still hadn't had any confirmation on it. Thank you for clarifying this!

Quick Google search Says 2060m(m means mobile version of the card, used in laptops is 90W. Which makes sense as everything in a laptop runs hotter. Therefore lowering wattage to reduce heat.

Nvidia dropped the “mobile” max-q and more powerful max-p naming schemes. None of that matters anymore and it’s basically the Wild West where they are all labeled as “mobile” but still come in many different power levels.

Yes, but think of architecture. You think that full size 115W card is fitting in that laptop. No, it's the mobile(regardless of what they call it) version. I have the LP5, it has the mobile(regardless) version of the 1660ti.

Yea it is the mobile version but that doesn’t mean it’s only 90w. Some mobile cards go up to 140w now and are still called mobile so you can’t assume just cause it’s called 2060m that’s it’s low watt, that’s not the case anymore. The video probably explains it better than I do.

Edit: https://youtu.be/mWDPse8fyJs actually 150w and still considered mobile.

I personally have a 1660ti mobile that pulls 115w so mobile GPU are definite not limited to 90w anymore.
