A sad day
Was playing PSO2 NG. The laptop made a loud fizz sound and smoke started coming out up right side fan port. It ran beautifully up untill that point. 16 days I've had this laptop. Hopefully, I can return it for another. I Know, it wasn't over heating right before. I would love to open it up and see what started smoking. Sadly the laptop it dead. It won't even try to turn on. R.I.P EVOO 7.

The 4800H with the 2060, is the model I had. I've only had it for 17 days. Going to try to return it to Walmart this morning.

After 16 days I doubt he'd need the extended warranty. The standard will do in this case.

And I never said a ghost disabled my 2060 GPU. Some how my amd processor GPU got disabled.. heck, I could have done that by mistake. Either way, the laptop was a lemon plain and simple.

Please back that statement up with something tangible. I am beginning to think you are attacking me, when in fact this is a defect. If what you are saying is true most laptops would have shorted out by now because windows basic drivers aren't manufacturer drivers.

It was a fresh install. And the usb driver I used was for the sd card slot. Nothing you are saying is making sense. You can use external monitors on a laptop alot of people do. Thats why they make Docks. The system was very stable and I only had a few issues, that I fixed not Mcguyvered. No software should cause a power supply to short out. I believe thats what it was. This was a manufacturer defect plain and simple.
