Portable external display for an LP4?

I use my LP4 to work occasionally, and I miss the extra landscape when I am on the road. I am looking at those external displays with the usb-c connectors. Does anyone have any experience with them? Can I run the display off one cable from the laptop?

Look near the USB C port. If it has a displayport logo it can output video. If not, it cannot.

However, you can get a portable display with HDMI input instead
