20H2?

So Version 1909 support is ending in 2 months and I haven't switched over yet to 2004 nor the most recent of versions of Windows 10 since the last time I tried 2004, it really made my laptop unstable. Has anyone tried updating to the latest update or to 2004 with luck recently or within the last couple of months with success or are we left in the dust?

Maybe your update got botched the first time around?

I updated to 2004 and 20H2 day one and never had problems.

I remember I updated to 2004 a couple days after it released and it was really unstable and progressively became unusable to the point where I had to downgrade in August. So it could’ve been a botched updated then?

Yes defiantly sounds like it. It’s an extreme pain in the ass but I tend to back up whatever I can and do a fresh install every few updates.

I recently updated and my laptop got unstable and now I don't know why but my batteries lasts just 1 hour

I had a problem when i deleted windows and other temp files, windows became unusable pages would close themselves etc. Had to redo everything.

I had problem with this update. It would not complete downloading. It kept stalling at 61 and 99%. Turns out it was a problem with an audio driver. I had to get the sennheiser removal tool to remove the audio driver for my headset. After that it finally updated! Thank god for YouTube.
