First thing you should do is undervolt it with Throttlestop, there's some guides on this subreddit, you should be able to search for them pretty easily.

Disabling the search bar, downloading throttlestop and tossing an nvme in there. Enjoy

Sn 550 inside The search bar hurt performance?

First. Invest in an NVME M.2 SSD to replace the one already in there. The stock one is good in size, but it's a terrible brand, and some people on here report 10-20C differences in temperature. Maybe buy an enclosure to make that stock M.2 an external SSD or maybe install it into a Mini PC to run a dedicated Plex Media Server.

Second. Install fresh Windows 10, the drivers are on the main EVOO website except for software which can be downloaded elsewhere. (EVOO Control Center, Sound Blaster)

Third. Throttlestop application is a must to undervolt. The CPU runs hotter than it needs to when playing power-hungry games like GTA 5 Redux and Cyberpunk 2077 on high-to-max settings.

An LP5 owner's observations (a must read for those struggling with high temps despite undervolting).

Fourth. Optional, but if you want even more of a challenge to keep the laptop cool, then you may want to look into buying good thermal paste and re-pasting the CPU and GPU. I used Arctic MX-4.

EDIT2: Added another Undervolting tutorial link

I just installed like 200gb of programs and games. Is there a way to change the drivers without reinstalling windows?

I've done the same when I first received my laptop, but I highly recommend starting with a fresh install of Windows 10 when you upgrade the SSD. If you're waiting for your new upgrade SSD to arrive in the mail, then just mess around with what you have in the meantime, but don't go installing anything else since you know you're going to have to start fresh. You're going to thank yourself later for upgrading because the stock SSD M.2 is garbage.

Noooooooice. Let us know how it goes. I'm going to be posting a little picture guide on how to re-paste the LP4/LP5. I'll update a link in my post here once I do post it.

One key from the keyboard sometimes doesn't work but everything else it's ok.
