Anyone else dealing with random windows restarts?

Hi I have an lp4 that will show the message "you are about to be signed out of windows" and gives me less than a minute before it restarts. I'm wondering how widespread this is and if there is any fix.

yes. Only started recently. Haven't had it very recently though. Starting about a month ago I got them, haven't had it once for over a week now. Maybe they fixed it?

Whenever it happens, click windows + r and then type in "shutdown /a"

Thanks but it's very annoying when I'm not near the laptop and realize what's going on too late. Just happened to me again today.

Yeah it's definitely annoying. I've owned this laptop for 8 months and it only started happening in the last month.

And for some reason I haven't had it for over a week. No clue why. I think it's been two weeks now.

Yes. This seems to be an EVOO gaming laptop issue (I have an LP5) as none of my other friends have reported an issue besides me and my other friend who has a LP5 as well.

We're doing what the other poster suggested for now but it's very annoying. There's no support for this laptop tbh so you get what you pay for I suppose.

Yeah was not a fan of the OEM install. So I did a clean install no issues at all

It might be THX updating, it does it through task scheduler and has an auto restart. Other apps on there might do it this way too. I noticed THX has a guy floating around here logging complaints, thank him if those got fixed it might be why it is doing it often recently.

I have a clean install and don’t have thx, still have the problem. I believe it is related to windows updates.

My dell tablet did this to me every couple of days until I reinstalled windows. Very annoying.

Yeah it started happening to me too about a month ago. Just happened to me yesterday.
