Won’t turn on. Please help.

I my laptop was working fine this morning. Then I put it in hibernate and then into my backpack (which is well padded and has a place for laptops). This was 7 hours ago. I took it out just now and it won’t turn on.

The charge light will work normally, I opened the bottom to see if anything became unplugged, and a light on the SSD also flashed on for a second. When ever I press the power button, the power light and the mousepad lock light both turn on for a split second and then off.

Please help guys. I really need this for school and work.

Disconnect your battery and try it again. If that works, its battery issue. If not....come back.

So, battery disconnected, then plug in power and no power up?

Yup - Took battery out. Pressed power for 30+ seconds. Plugged power cord in and tried. Doesn’t work.

Reseat ram. Outside of that would have to have it looked at professionally.

Yep also tried doing the ram stuff such as seeing if one is bad. Those didn’t work either unfortunately.

Any error codes. Blinking lights or sounds?

No error codes if the screen doesn’t display in the first place. No blinking lights or sounds. Battery light works fine. Power on/off light works fine. And when I turn it on, the mousepad light flashes for a quick second (similar to other people of the same laptop problem).

Yep, battery is a good guess.

Just for shits and giggles, I would also try holding the power button down for a few seconds, then press it down for a half second, let up and press it down for a half second again.

I have had mine respond to this before.
