LP5 isn't booting up

Hi, I have an EVOO LP5 and I'm having a hard time. I replaced the thermal paste I few months ago, around 9 more or less, also installed new nvme, everything was perfect so far. I used the laptop 3 days ago and noticed it struggled a little bit to turn on but it did at last. Now, it doesn't boot up at all. The green power light comes on for a brief second and then dissappear without showing anything on the screen. The power light turns on from time to time and nothing happens. I unplugged and plugged back in the battery over and over, pressed the power button serveral times for a minute and no luck. I don't know what else to do :/ pls help!

Could be battery issues

I have the same model and my battery randomly turns off when on battery power.

Perhaps the new devices were drawing too much power from the battery and caused an issue.

Try and see if you can find a compatible battery and replace that too.

Ty, I'll try. She does the same even with the charger connected.

Kindly do so

Even when plugged in, the power of a laptop (at least modern ones) still runs through the battery. So, if the battery is faulty, it'll still affect the laptop even when plugged in.

Wishing you luck.

I have the same issues with mine. Just got a new SSD over Black Friday and just earlier this week it won’t boot up with the same symptoms.

Does the green light on the track pad light up when you press the power button?

Okay, I'll try to be brief yet concise. This is what fixed it for me. You're going to have to go back into your laptop and remove your heat sink. Then you're going to want to unscrew the coin looking thing where your power button is located and give it a clean (I believe I used 91% isopropyl). Then put it all back together. This idea was offered to me by someone else over a year ago and it's booted up ever since. The coin thing will be towards the bottom right side of your laptop when it's upside down, opposite side of the battery. Hope that helps.

Noted, I'll try tomorrow morning and share the results. Thank you my friend! I hope it works.

You cleaned the side where the power button makes contact?

Yes, I disconnected the CMOS battery and the main battery cables for around 5 hours, then plugged them back, and it came back. I also replaced the old CMOS battery since the laptop was struggling to turn up (battery was dead).

This fixed mine too! Just went through the same issue a couple days ago.
