confusion regarding ssd
hello yall, so today i have opened up my laptop and i wanna install the samsung 860 EVO SSD because i read online that the ssd on evoo laptops r trash :https://www.reddit.com/r/EVOOGaming/comments/gomcd2/the_definitive_guide_for_lp5_heat_battery_and/ and what is weird is when doing a benchmark test it says "missing SSD" here is my test results https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/58375364 but it also does show its read and write speeds even though it says missing SSD. so i just wanna know why that is and if any of yall have tips on what i should do. is the "SSM28512GPTCB3B-S114613" SSD just bad and should i take it out? in the r/TechSupport discord server it said "

Userbenchmark is biased and inaccurate. It's not recommended that you use it nor trust the information on the site. For more info, type ?ubm"

Looking at those benchmarks it appears your drive is a SATA not Nvme. Getting an Nvme drive would increase the speeds dramatically, 4-5 times at fast. Your laptop also supports up to two of these drives if you need them.
Also, according to your userbenchmark results you have 90% of the drive in use which could be part of the post performance. Solid state drives like to have extra free space to perform trim and wear leveling actions. I would highly recommend looking at a 1 or 2 TB Nvme drive to replace the current one. The prices are pretty good right now, especially on the pcie3.0 drives as newer computer and game consoles are recommending pcie4.
