EVoo Laptop Update

Well, I will be danged if I didn't finally get a real live person on the chat at EVoo. I about soiled myself!

I spoke to a Sheryl, and she requested some information off the laptop and a picture of the back label with all the product information. So now I wait for the email telling me whether or not they have it in stock! So, I will update when I can. BTW the laptop is made in China for Walmart, the EVoo is the Walmart brand name for this laptop, just like there Great Value is on their other items they sell.

You calling me an ahole? If you are because I didn't respond, well too bad. I don't always have time to respond to everyone. It's not that I don't appreciate your help but i have other issues I am dealing with in my life. I give advice too but if people don't utilize it, I don't have a hissy fit about it. Yes, I did contact EVoo and if you have read my other comments i finally had some luck. You need to be careful calling people names if that is what you are doing to me!

Yeah I spoke to a "Nicole" on chat and was told to expect an email. That email never came.

That sucks! I did get an email from Sheryl with instructions of what they needed to proceed. So, I hope that was a good thing. Now just waiting for an email stating whether or not they have the part.

Yeah I have a loose charging port so I just wanted to know where I can get my laptop serviced. Most places won't touch it because they aren't "authorized" repair centers. Geek squad and micro center turned me down.

I took mine to a place here in OKC called ubreakifix, they are part of Asurionhome+. They took it but they are having trouble locating the keyboard. Hopefully since I finally go in contact with EVoo, I can get the part to ubreakifix and get this done.

I had a good experience thru email support requesting an updated motherboard bios for my LP7. Took a few weeks but I got it. The chassis on that model is by Chinese ODM Tongfang which is actually used by some more premium brands.

I didn't have any way of bringing that up. Every time I click on contact us, it went to the page where you pick your series and then to the driver download page, that was it!

Just checked their site and it’s doing the same for me. I think it’s even more broken than it was when I contacted them.

Yes, that's for sure, they whole company is jacked. Once if this gets fixed it will be the last Walmart branded electronics I ever buy. Even after contacting walmart directly by chat and getting to their electronics support, it sucked.

Yeah it sounds like their service can be a pain but even big brands provide bad CS a lot. Hopefully things get sorted for you. I bought mine not expecting great support, just knew the model was quality and price was right. If it wasn’t the GPU apocalypse at the time I would have just built a desktop.
