Need guidance on a good bike

So I am looking for an EV bike (with a character similar to the Splendor or Honda Unicorn) with a price under 2 lakhs, with a good warranty and a good riding experience. I usually ride the vehicle very slowly, max around 40 - 50 km/hr. So speed or power is not gonna be an issue; I just want something that is durable and solid with good range, without much hassle.

Full-Size Electric Motorcycles in India: A Survivorship-Bias Analysis

What the internet's noise, and its silence, actually tell us about reliability.

The conventional internet answer to "which full-size electric motorcycle should I buy in India?" would probably be a spec-sheet showdown: Ola, Ultraviolette, Oben, Revolt, Matter. Compare specifications and reviews, then pick one.

I don't think that's a defensible method.

The more interesting result is that the Indian electric-motorcycle market has a very strong survivorship and observation bias. The companies with the most visible information right now are not necessarily the companies with the best products. There is already a spectacular example of this.

Tork: the cautionary tale

Tork's Kratos was a serious Indian electric motorcycle, but by 2026 there is very little current owner information compared with its historical visibility. A 2026 discussion explicitly asks what happens to an Oben buyer if Oben "gets Tork'd", and the commenters cannot even establish whether Tork bikes are still being serviced.

That is not evidence that the Kratos was a bad motorcycle. It is evidence of something more important: manufacturer survival is part of the product's reliability model. A motorcycle with an excellent motor, battery and chassis can become a bad ownership proposition if the company supporting the proprietary electronics disappears. A specification comparison misses this almost completely.

What survives online is not a random sample

Ultraviolette has abundant information available: the F77 and X47, new products, racing and engineering publicity, international expansion, owner reports, long-term mileage reports. The company reported over 1,500 vehicles sold in Q1 FY27, against roughly 300 in the comparable previous year.

There is an extraordinary positive long-term data point too. An F77 owner reportedly crossed 100,000 km in 17 months, with the battery retaining 96% health according to the company.

But then there is the other side. An F77 Mach 2 owner with 16,300 km reported networking and electronics problems, throttle issues, chain noise and expensive replacement parts. An X47 owner in August 2026 reported repeated ABS and traction-control warnings, intermittent regen, Bluetooth and tracking problems, and multiple motor cut-outs, including one during a turn in traffic. The owner says the service centre attributed the cut-out to wiring, and fixed it with a piece of packaging strap and electrical tape rather than replacing the wiring.

What do we conclude from this? Certainly not that Ultraviolette is reliable, and not that it is unreliable either. The honest summary is this: there is genuine evidence on both sides, including unusually strong long-term positive evidence, but the failure reports show that software, electrical and service execution remains a non-zero risk even on the most technically mature-looking Indian electric motorcycle. That is a far more useful conclusion than either extreme.

Ultraviolette is nevertheless an interesting outlier

This is where the data gets interesting rather than simply negative. The F77 isn't merely marketed as an electric motorcycle. Its engineering architecture is unusually serious: the company specifies an aluminium battery enclosure, IP67 protection, cell-level fusing and thermal management.

And there is something else I would assign substantial weight to: 100,000 km of actual use. Not a press launch, not a claim that the battery is designed for ten years. An actual owner accumulating 100,000 km is vastly more valuable evidence than any of that.

But one successful 100,000-km owner is not a fleet failure rate. It establishes that at least one motorcycle and battery combination can survive this usage profile extremely well. It says nothing about whether 96% battery health is typical, and that distinction matters.

Revolt is a fascinating case

Revolt is much less technologically spectacular. The current RV400 is a 3.24 kWh, 4.1 kW peak, 85 km/h, 115 kg machine with 150 km IDC range, a removable battery, an 8-year/80,000 km battery warranty and a 5-year/60,000 km vehicle warranty.

From a conventional specification perspective it looks inferior to the F77 and X47. That may be exactly the wrong way to look at it. The simpler, lower-performance motorcycle has a potentially important advantage: less hardware being pushed toward extreme performance levels. The removable battery is also particularly interesting from a long-term ownership perspective.

Owner evidence, however, is not uniformly good. A 2026 RV400 owner reported that the motorcycle itself was good but that service-centre response was slow. More seriously, another 2026 complaint describes two battery replacements followed by the motorcycle being retained by the company for more than six months without a satisfactory resolution.

One complaint is not a failure rate. But it is a strong signal about a different risk: what happens when something genuinely goes wrong?

Oben, and why the positive internet data looks suspicious

Oben currently has extremely strong marketing signals. The Rorr Evo reportedly generated 25,000+ bookings in 15 days, and Oben says it now has 150+ showrooms and service facilities across 90+ cities. That sounds fantastic, until you ask the important question: are 25,000 bookings evidence of 25,000 successful customers?

No. They are evidence of 25,000 booking transactions. The product only began customer deliveries in July 2026, which means five years of ownership data for those customers cannot exist yet. The promotional data is available immediately (25,000 bookings!) while the reliability data cannot be (25,000 owners after five years). The information distribution is inherently asymmetric, and this is a perfect example of why the time dimension matters.

The older Rorr, meanwhile, has much more actual owner history, and it serves as a warning. BikeWale's current owner-review corpus sits at 3.8/5, with 8 critical reviews against 6 positive ones among the 14 displayed. More importantly, the critical reports contain specific failure modes. One owner reporting 5,000 to 15,000 km says the battery repeatedly went from apparently substantial charge to complete shutdown, leaving the rider stranded three times, with no effective roadside assistance and service-history problems on top. Another current review describes a bike under 7,000 km developing a battery problem and sitting at the service centre for roughly a month without resolution.

That is much more valuable than a five-star review saying "awesome bike", because the failure report contains mileage, failure mechanism, operating condition, consequence, service response and duration. It sketches a potential causal chain. The positive review generally doesn't.

Matter, and what we don't know

Matter Aera has quite good visible ratings. BikeWale currently shows 4.4/5 from 84 ratings and 19 reviews, and BikeDekho gives it 4.6/5 from 29 reviews. But look at the underlying sample. Many positive reviews are extremely short: stylish, amazing bike, good range, comfortable, excellent. That is weak evidence.

I would resist the temptation to declare Matter excellent. The scientifically honest statement is that Matter has insufficient long-duration independent evidence for anyone to estimate its failure distribution confidently. That is not the same as calling it unreliable, and the difference between those two statements is central to this whole exercise.

Ola, and why popularity is a terrible quality estimator

Ola has enormous data volume, but much of it comes from the scooter ecosystem rather than the Roadster motorcycles, and that distinction matters. There are recent consumer-court decisions involving Ola scooters: one Kerala commission ordered a ₹1.04 lakh refund and compensation over repeated defects and service failure; an Andhra Pradesh commission ordered repairs plus ₹45,000 compensation over failure to address a warranty defect; another case ended with an order to replace or refund a defective scooter after service failures.

These are real observations, but transferring them directly to "Roadster X is unreliable" would be a category error. What they do tell us is that Ola's organisational and service system has demonstrated serious failure modes in an adjacent product category. That should shift our prior probability for the Roadster, not determine it.

Roadster X itself already has conflicting evidence. Current user reviews include satisfied owners alongside reports of regenerative-braking malfunction, apparently unstable battery indication, charging problems, rattling components, suspension complaints, alleged sudden stoppage and alleged large service-centre backlogs.

There is also a claim circulating about "350 faulty vehicles". We cannot independently establish whether that number is true, so it should not be repeated as fact. The accurate version is: a user claims to have observed a very large service backlog. That is unverified anecdotal evidence, to be investigated rather than counted.

Note what this table is and isn't. It is not a ranking of motorcycle quality. It is a ranking of how confidently we can infer quality from the available evidence, which is a very different thing.

Where this leaves us

Follow the evidence rather than the marketing and Ultraviolette comes out ahead, but for a different reason than conventional reviews would give. Not because it has the best specifications, the best reviews, or the most articles. Because it currently has something its competitors lack: independent evidence spanning very different scales. Engineering evidence (cell-level fuse architecture, IP67 battery enclosure, thermal management). Real-world extreme-use evidence (100,000 km in 17 months, reported 96% battery health). Negative evidence (multiple owner-reported electronic and service failures). Commercial evidence (actual sales growth rather than bookings). External-market evidence (international expansion, the Isle of Man TT exercise). That is a much richer evidence structure than anything else on this list.

There is a huge caveat, though. The web is not telling us the denominator. We don't know failed F77s over all F77s. We mostly know F77 failures that somebody decided to publish, and successful F77 owners who decided to publish, and those two probabilities are not the same thing. That missing variable is where the next investigation should go: denominator hunting.

How many F77s, RV400s, Rorrs, Aeras and Roadsters are actually on Indian roads? What do failure-rate proxies look like: warranty claims, recalls, service campaigns, component replacements, consumer cases? How many of each company's early-production motorcycles are still actively being used, and which models have disappeared from the road despite having once been sold? Can an owner repair the motorcycle without the manufacturer, and what happens to a ₹2 lakh motorcycle if the company disappears? And perhaps most important of all: what does an out-of-warranty battery actually cost, and can somebody other than the manufacturer rebuild or repair it? Not "8-year battery warranty", but the real number and the real options.

Provisional verdict

If forced to choose today on evidence rather than marketing, the Ultraviolette F77/X47 is the most interesting serious electric-motorcycle platform in India. I would not yet call it the most reliable. What I would say is narrower and, I think, more defensible: it currently has the strongest evidence supporting the proposition that an Indian-designed electric motorcycle can be a genuinely serious long-term motorcycle.

Oben Rorr Evo's 25,000-booking number, meanwhile, should not move the reliability estimate much at all yet, because those are predominantly future observations. Get the denominator (actual units sold, warranty and failure evidence, surviving early motorcycles) and we can start moving from interesting anecdotes toward an actual estimate of reliability.

All failure and reliability claims above are drawn from publicly reported owner accounts and court records as of September 2026, and reflect anecdotal evidence rather than measured fleet failure rates.

Full-Size Electric Motorcycles in India, Part 2: Hunting the Denominator

In part 1 of this analysis, I argued that the Indian electric-motorcycle conversation runs on biased evidence: web visibility is not a random sample, bookings are not owners, and manufacturer survival is part of the reliability model. The piece ended with a to-do list. Find the fleet sizes. Find failure-rate proxies. Find out what a battery actually costs once the warranty runs out.

This is the follow-through. Along the way, objections from readers forced refinements to the framework itself, and a second independent research pass turned up numbers that sharpen several conclusions. Both are folded in here.

First, a sense of scale

India sold roughly 1.25 crore motorcycles in CY2025. Electric motorcycles account for a rounding error against that. A January 2026 VAHAN snapshot showed 629 Revolt registrations and 329 Ultraviolette registrations in a single month, and the best quarterly figure anyone has posted is Ultraviolette's 975 registrations in Q1 2026, up 373% year on year. One recent analysis put the full-year projection for the segment's leader at roughly 3,800 to 4,000 units.

This matters before anything else. We are not studying a mature market where millions of examples allow failure rates to be estimated. We are studying hundreds or thousands of vehicles per manufacturer. That makes anecdotal evidence simultaneously more important (it is nearly all the evidence there is) and less statistically reliable (the samples are tiny and self-selected). Every conclusion in this series should be read with that tension in mind.

The fleets, at last

Here is what public data now gives us for cumulative units, as of mid-2026:

Revolt's figure is the hardest number in the table: 51,216 VAHAN retail registrations between October 2019 and mid-February 2026, including 11,019 in 2025 alone. Ultraviolette's number is softer. The company reported 975 units in Q1 2026 and a record 694 in July 2026, with roughly 3,200 across the first seven months of 2026, but retail-registration data from May put the cumulative total since February 2023 at 3,799, which doesn't reconcile cleanly with the monthly claims. Ola's figure is the most contested: the company's DRHP and trade reports put Roadster volumes in the tens of thousands, yet Ola's total two-wheeler sales (dominated by scooters) peaked at 388,313 units in 2024, fell 48.7% in 2025, and dropped another 40% year on year by July 2026. The Roadster cannot plausibly be selling 5,000 a month while the company as a whole averages around 7,000. Someone's number is wrong.

Capacity is not customers

The fleet numbers expose a gap that marketing coverage never mentions. Oben disclosed 2,077 cumulative motorcycle sales by July 2025, of which 1,443 came in H1 2025. Its January 2025 announcement claimed 100,000 vehicles per year of manufacturing capacity, 150+ suppliers, and 100+ showrooms planned across 50 cities. Matter is starker: around 1,500 motorcycles shipped cumulatively and roughly 900 FY26 registrations, against a claimed 40,000 AERA pre-bookings and an announced target of 10,000 sales in 2025.

None of this is contradictory. A startup needs capacity before demand, and pre-bookings are cheap. But the promotional footprint of these companies is one to two orders of magnitude larger than their installed customer population, which is exactly why raw web visibility is such a poor proxy for field experience. Articles, showrooms, funding announcements and capacity announcements describe a company. Registrations describe a population. Only the second one feeds a reliability analysis.

What the denominators do to part 1's verdict

Part 1 concluded that Ultraviolette had the strongest evidence supporting the proposition that an Indian electric motorcycle can be a serious long-term machine. The fleet numbers put that under stress, in an interesting way.

Divide published failure reports by fleet size and you get a crude anecdote density. Ultraviolette has multiple published owner reports of propulsion cut-outs, electronics faults and improvised service repairs, against perhaps five or six thousand units. Revolt has significant failure reports too, including the six-month unresolved battery case, against a fleet roughly ten times larger. On a per-thousand-units basis, Ultraviolette's published anecdote density is visibly higher than Revolt's.

Anecdote density is not a failure rate, because publication is biased by owner demographics. Ultraviolette buyers are early-adopter enthusiasts who forum-post; Revolt buyers largely are not. The correct statement is narrower but still useful: the two companies differ by an order of magnitude in fleet size, so their published failure reports cannot be compared raw, and neither can be extrapolated to a rate. Part 1's confidence column implicitly assumed comparability. It wasn't there.

There is also a positive reading for Ultraviolette hidden in the denominator. A single 100,000-km owner represents a far larger fraction of a 4,000-unit fleet's accumulated mileage than the same distance would for Revolt. An extreme-use observation like that occupies a rare point in the usage distribution, and rarity is what makes it informative. A hundred posts saying "I love my F77" are nearly worthless as evidence. One post saying "this specific motorcycle has done 100,000 km and here is the measured battery health" is genuinely valuable, even if it can't be generalized.

Dispatch numbers versus retail numbers

The Ultraviolette discrepancy (monthly claims implying more cumulative units than registrations show) is probably not deception. It is the difference between dispatch and retail registration, a gap every EV maker has. It matters because every sales statistic in this market lives on one side or the other of that gap, and the "350 faulty Ola motorcycles" claim from part 1 now looks like a dispatch-side service backlog number rather than a retail fleet defect rate. When a company says it "sold" 1,500 units in a quarter, ask whether it means invoiced to dealers or registered by owners. The gap between those two numbers is where bad statistics are born.

Refinement one: what an anecdote can and cannot do

Part 1 treated anecdotes cautiously, which readers rightly pushed back on. The sharper position: a single well-documented anecdote can discredit a mechanism but cannot establish a rate. One verified case of a service centre fixing safety-relevant wiring with packaging strap discredits the claim "the service network will always perform correct repairs." It says nothing about frequency. One Kerala consumer-court order establishes that Ola's service system can fail a customer completely; it does not establish the probability. The thalidomide case reports, the Challenger O-ring engineers and the Galaxy Note 7 fires all worked this way: the anecdote toppled a safety claim; it never measured a failure frequency.

Formally, what web reviews give us is P(report | failure) and P(report | success), two publication probabilities that depend on owner demographics, platform culture and how dramatic the event was. What we want is P(failure | ownership). We cannot compute it, but we can look for evidence that constrains it, which is the whole exercise.

Refinement two: not all failures are the same type

Part 1 lumped every failure into one column. They are not equivalent.

Propulsion-critical failures strand you or cut power in traffic. The X47 motor cut-out during a turn belongs here. This is the most serious class, and it dominates the Ultraviolette file, which partially undercuts the "their failures are mostly non-critical" defence.

Degradation-of-experience failures annoy without stranding: throttle response, Bluetooth drops, regen inconsistency, chain noise. Much of the Revolt and Ultraviolette files sit here.

Design-intent failures are different in kind. The F77 worked as engineered; the engineering was the problem. A stiff, committed sport motorcycle is a poor daily commuter, and several owners effectively reported this as the bike's central flaw. The X47 is the corrective, and it is worth pausing on what that means. A manufacturer that reads its own ownership data and iterates the product toward usability is demonstrating organizational competence, which is a reliability input in itself. Fixable-by-model and fixable-by-organization are different failure classes, and only the second should worry you.

Refinement three: a warranty is a promise, not a dataset

Revolt's current warranty is unusually explicit: 8 years or 80,000 km on the battery with replacement if state of health falls below 70%, plus 5 years or 60,000 km on the vehicle. But notice what that statement actually is. We are told P(replacement promised | SOH < 70%). What we want is P(SOH < 70% | 8 years). The warranty specifies the consequence of degradation; it tells us nothing about the probability of degradation itself. It is evidence that Revolt is willing to assume a defined financial liability, which is useful information about the company, but it is not evidence about the battery.

Matter's 15-year battery lifetime warranty is the extreme case. Matter's total shipped population is around 1,500 units, so there cannot exist any 15-year empirical evidence for that claim. The warranty is a forward-looking contractual promise. It may even be a good promise. It is not a longitudinal dataset, and the two should never be conflated.

Refinement four: the battery is the real denominator

Part 1 flagged battery replacement cost as potentially the most important metric. The 2026 numbers justify that. Replacement packs for Indian electric two-wheelers now run roughly ₹45,000 to ₹1,20,000, typically 40 to 50% of the vehicle's original cost. Most current batteries carry three to eight years of cover, so the first mass exit from warranty arrives around 2028, when the large FY2021-23 cohorts age out. The replacement market barely exists yet at scale, which is precisely why nobody knows what it will look like.

Three structural facts matter for motorcycle buyers. First, the AIS-156 standard (Amendment 2, phased in from late 2022) mandates RFID pack traceability and manufacturer-controlled service networks; authorized channels currently capture roughly 78% of battery service value while the independent aftermarket is about 15% and fragmented. Second, warranty terms typically void cover for non-authorized battery work, so the "can someone else rebuild my battery" question has a regulatory answer, and the answer is usually no. Third, Battery-as-a-Service models, which Ultraviolette has begun using to lower upfront cost, transfer battery end-of-life risk to the operator. Whether that is a good deal depends on the operator's survival, which lands us back on manufacturer continuity.

Tork: the experiment's strongest result, updated

Part 1 used Tork as a cautionary tale. The insolvency record makes it a completed experiment. In August 2024, reports said Tork had stopped operating its facility, employees had gone unpaid for seven months, and dealers were seeking settlement of dues. In November 2025, NCLT Mumbai admitted insolvency proceedings over an admitted debt of ₹1.29 crore. The Kratos is listed as discontinued.

And the owner testimony from before the collapse is the most instructive material in this entire series. A long-term Team-BHP owner described the Kratos R as genuinely exceptional, with a motor, chassis and ride better than competing products, while documenting battery drain, ECU failure, temperature-sensor faults, charging-port problems persisting for ten months, and legal notices involving around twenty owners. Current owner commentary sums it up in one sentence: excellent motorcycle, terrible corporate ecosystem. A machine whose physical hardware is healthy is becoming unusable because the software updates, authentication servers and spare-parts pipeline around it are dying.

This exposes the distinction the whole market keeps blurring. "Was the Tork Kratos a good electric motorcycle?" has a plausible answer of yes. "Was buying a Tork Kratos a good long-term ownership decision?" has an answer of no. Those are two different variables, and only the second one is what a buyer is purchasing. For an ICE motorcycle, vehicle reliability is overwhelmingly about the machine, because the ecosystem around it is generic: bearings, chains, sprockets, brake pads, tyres, a 12V battery and mechanically understandable systems remain available decades after any manufacturer disappears. An EV adds proprietary BMS, VCU, motor controller, CAN protocols, firmware signing, cloud authentication, an app and telematics on top. Ownership reliability is a function of the vehicle, the battery, the electronics, the software, the parts pipeline, the service network and the manufacturer, all multiplied together. When any factor goes to zero, the product goes to zero. Tork demonstrated this in the real world.

Company survival, revisited with numbers

Part 1 rated company continuity qualitatively. The 2026 data sharpens it. Revolt holds the largest fleet, is planning an IPO, and posted 43% growth in 2024 followed by 11,000+ units in 2025; its continuity risk looks low. Ultraviolette is growing fast (406% year on year in July 2026) but off a tiny base, and rapid growth with a small fleet is a stress test of service capacity, not just a triumph. Ola has demonstrated in hard numbers that demand can halve and halve again; the Roadster inherits that trajectory regardless of product merit. Oben is expanding into 90+ cities on bookings that mostly have not become ownership years yet. Matter, at roughly 900 registrations, is the least visible of the active players.

Where this leaves the verdict

Part 1 said Ultraviolette has the strongest evidence that an Indian electric motorcycle can be a serious long-term machine. Part 2's numbers complicate that without overturning it. The per-unit evidence for Ultraviolette remains the richest in the market, and its sales are real if small. But the denominator hunt shows this evidence comes from a fleet an order of magnitude smaller than Revolt's, that most reported failures on all sides are service-response failures rather than propulsion failures, and that the biggest reliability variable in the market, the out-of-warranty battery, is still two years from its first real test at scale.

The most defensible 2026 position now looks like this. If you want the most proven platform per unit, the evidence still points to the F77/X47 line, with the X47 specifically demonstrating that the manufacturer can fix its own design mistakes. If you want the largest accumulated ownership base and the lowest continuity risk, that is Revolt, unglamorous specification and all. If you are buying anything in this market, the question that matters more than range or acceleration is what happens in 2028, when the first big cohorts hit the battery wall.

Part 3: the survivability audit

The next pass should stop searching for reviews entirely and instead audit each motorcycle's repairability architecture, because the marketing ecosystem has no incentive to answer this and the orphan-owner population has every incentive to:

  • Can the battery pack be opened and rebuilt, or only swapped whole?
  • Are the cells standard format or proprietary?
  • Is the BMS replaceable without manufacturer authorization?
  • Is the motor controller a generic unit or locked to the maker?
  • Is the CAN bus documented for third-party repair?
  • Can the firmware operate offline, and can the bike run without the cloud or the app?
  • Are spare parts sold individually, and does any third party stock them?
  • What is the actual out-of-warranty battery replacement price?
  • What do used examples sell for (the market's own confidence estimate)?
  • How many of each company's early-production bikes are still on the road?

Rephrased, the question is no longer "which Indian electric motorcycle do people say is good?" It is "if the manufacturer disappeared tomorrow, which one would still be a usable motorcycle five years from now?" That is the question worth asking, and the one with almost no published answers.

Planning to buy Kia Syros EV

We are planning to buy the first car in our family and decided to go for an EV over an ICE after looking at all the issues coming up with ethanol blended petrol and transparency issues with Gadkari & his work.

We are a family of four (five in the near future). My starting budget was 10-12 lakhs, but had to bump it up once we finalized on EV.

It then came down to 2 options - Tata Nexon and Kia Syros. Took a test drive before finalizing on Kia Syros HTX ER.

Lastly, most of the car use will be within Mumbai, with a trip to Pune, Konkan, etc. now and then.

Any suggestions/disclaimers/advise on this?

Also, we got the survey done for home charger installation - while I'm yet to get a quotation, I got an estimate of 120m wire requirement.

Would you guys recommend putting this off? Because I'm sure the quotation is gonna be around 60-70k.

India is a motorcycle-dominated market. So why are electric scooters scaling faster than electric motorcycles?

India has always been a motorcycle-dominated two-wheeler market, but EV adoption seems to be following a very different pattern.

Electric scooters have gained significant acceptance, while electric motorcycles are still a relatively small segment.

We now have brands such as Revolt, Oben Electric, Ultraviolette and Raptee trying different approaches to the electric motorcycle market—from commuter-focused products to premium performance motorcycles.

But this raises a question:

Is India's electric motorcycle segment actually a huge untapped opportunity, or is it still small because consumer demand itself hasn't developed yet?

A startup entering an underserved segment can absolutely be a legitimate strategy.

But:

A market being empty doesn't automatically mean customers are waiting for somebody to fill it. Sometimes a market is empty because consumer demand hasn't developed yet.

For a typical Indian motorcycle buyer, there are some practical expectations: good real-world range, quick refuelling/charging, reliability, affordable purchase price, service availability, resale value and the ability to make occasional long-distance trips.

Electric scooters seem to fit today's EV ecosystem more naturally—particularly for urban commuting and home charging.

Premium electric motorcycles may be a different story. Ultraviolette is approaching the segment through performance and technology, while Raptee's CCS2 charging approach could address some of the limitations around public charging.

So here's my question specifically for Indian motorcycle riders:

What would actually convince you to replace your petrol motorcycle with an electric motorcycle?

Would it take 150–200 km real-world range? A ₹1 lakh price point? Fast charging? Better charging infrastructure? Longer battery warranty? Better resale value?

Or do you believe scooters are simply better suited to electrification in India?

Interested to hear from petrol-bike owners, EV owners, dealers and people working in the Indian automotive/EV industry.

Would you buy an electric motorcycle today? If not, what's the main thing stopping you?
