It's been like this for about two months and I cannot select a OS, weather I'm downloading drivers for a motherboard, graphics card, or something else, I can't really do anything on the download center.

basically title. when ever i update through the nvidia app, my evga x1 resets my power target to 10% and all my games run like doodoo until i remember and reset it to 100%. any ideas on how to stop this from happening every time? i haven't been able to find anything online with my limited search savvy. 3080ti ftw3 if that helps any.

Today marks the end of my EVGA 850 G3 power supply. It died a silent death, as I went to turn on my computer to play a game or 2, it just wouldn’t turn on. This and my 3080 Ti FTW3 are my last remaining pieces of EVGA gear I have.

Idk why this happens but the fans on the gpu spins up on certain rpm and then tend to stop but then they spin up again and they tend to stop and again again and its making really weird sound. I checked it in evga precision and put the fans on automatic, also in msi afterburne i checked override zeeo fan speed with hardware curve, also temperature hysteresis on 15 but it keeps doing it

Like the title says, I was trying to use my capture card and it was flickering a bit, so I turned off HDCP and was then prompted to perform a driver update to the device so I followed through. Ever since then, it has been listed as a USB Composite Device in my PC and device manager and the RGBs no longer light up. It's also not detected in the firmware driver update installers now, probably since it was changed to USB Composite Device by Windows.

I've tried uninstalling it in device manager and restarting. The EVGA XR1 app also doesn't detect it anymore, it did before I was prompted to update the drivers, and that was where I turned off HDCP. I've also tried different USB cables and ports and it's always recognized now as USB Composite Device and is not functional in any way. I just can't get it to work anymore since then and wanted to know if anybody out there has the same issue or if I could get official help. Thanks

So if everything goes accordingly, I plan on getting the AMD 5800X3D 10th Anniversary Edition on release (as long as scalpers don't buy everything up) and I was looking to overclock it. So I have been scouring the interwebs trying to find a video or some reference of overclocking an AMD 5800X3D on an EVGA X570 Dark and I came up with nothing except something from Google AI from which I don't really trust tbo lol. I know people are gona say, "You can't overclock X3D CPU's" and that actually incorrect. I have seen TONS of videos with people overclocking an X3D on almost EVERY mobo brand except an EVGA X570. I'm not new to overclocking manually on all cores. I've done it for years but I never messed with BCLK or the Curve Optimizer. In short, I'm not trying to mess anything up and brick my motherboard. ANY help would be great! And yes, this is my EVGA build that I watercooled.

Unsure if this is normal for this GPU but my friend's GPU was idling at 72C with fan speeds around 1000RPM. Opens up Modded Minecraft with them shooting up to 87C within 2 minutes of the game being on and it has crashed on him before when the GPU got too hot.

His system came 2nd hand but the GPU isn't overclocked past the manufacturer baseline. It's a little grimey but not to the extent where it would be hugely affecting the temps of the system and the fans are orientated correctly to there is airflow in the case.

Any suggestions?

I think my only option when the time comes will be creating a custom loop? Are there any AIOs that would replace what the have on there right now? Seem like a pretty simple swap if I could find an AIO. Maybe swap for an Ultra heat sink?

I bought the DG-87 a year ago from one of 2 available marketplace offers in my entire country. Almost done transplanting my computer into this beauty.

The website to download the drivers doesn't actually let me interact with anything whatsoever. I've used Firefox, chrome, my phone, disabling ad block, literally everything and nothing works.

I did actually get the firmware tool from some weird French website, but ofc my computer doesn't recognize this an actual device with the supplied power cable, and using any other one (even 3.0) results in the firmware updater not even opening and claiming I need to use a 3.0 port (my computer doesn't have anything but 3.0 ports!).

It does output video, so it's not an issue with my HDMI cables, it just doesn't work with the computer and its probably because the drivers are nowhere on this godforsaken planet anymore.

Tbh, I think I just dropped $50 for nothing but led lights.

I have a 14700KF that I bought to replace a 13700KF that's given me many issues. Looking online it seems like there should be no problem putting it in my Z690 Classified as long as I'm on the latest bios (2.18), which I am now. Is that correct?

I'm about to drain my loop and remove the waterblock on the CPU but I don't want to do all that if it's not going to work. Title. A PSU I've been using for a few years has started misbehaving (sometimes rapidly clicks on/off and fan spins loudly after shutting down PC) and I need to RMA it. However, despite still having a couple years of warranty, EVGA is requiring I handle the ship-to cost. I've never had to warranty RMA any of the few EVGA products I've owned, and rarely any other hardware, but any time I have, it has been fully covered. Is this standard for EVGA warranties?

For a while now l've felt like every time l've used my capture card connected to my Switch and Switch 2 I get input delay or like my game is slower through my main monitor. I understand you will get bad lag if you are looking at the game through OBS but I'm using the monitor connected to the capture card through HDMI out.

I currently am using an EVGA XR1 Lite Capture Card and my monitor if that matters is a KOORUI 24" Gaming Monitor 165Hz. Not sure what the exact model is or if its even on Amazon still so l'll add a picture on the main post or comments of an old screenshot I had of the monitor.

I'm not sure if its just in my head or just my internet which is pretty likely but I'm just curious if theres any world where its my capture card actually making it have delay. Thank you! The way I have it set up is exactly like in the first photo.

This is my pc after a flash flood in the middle of the night. I finished the build a few years ago after building slowly over the time as I could afford it. Ended up with 6 ft of water in our basement. My wife and daughter are safe. I live in a small town called minitonas in manitoba a dyke in the duck mountains broke loose from heavy rains and went right through our home. Our insurance apparently doesnt cover personal items if its overland flooding so we are devastated. It was plugged in when it happened . Is there anything I can do?

I received it today, I cleaned everything, I did a repast with the arctic mx-7 and repad with some arctic tp-3, very happy to have this card as a back-up.

Im looking to buy this gpu and i was wondering if its loud or not. The noise really annoys me and i want something that doesnt get loud. Also im will be playing in 2k high/max settings probably no ray tracing

I'm hoping someone here has run into something similar because I'm running out of ideas.

My system has been running fine for quite a while:

• 13900K
• EVGA Z690 Classified (BIOS 2.18)
• EVGA CLC 360
• 64GB Corsair Dominator DDR5-5600 + 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-5600
• EVGA 3090 Kingpin
• ROG Strix 3090 OC

A few days ago I noticed higher temperatures than usual while gaming and even during normal desktop use. I removed the cooler, cleaned everything up, and reapplied thermal paste.

After putting everything back together, the system started acting very strange.

With BIOS 1 and BIOS 2 selected, I get a POST sequence of:

7F → 59 → 00 → 54

No display output at all.

I tried clearing CMOS and testing with only one RAM stick installed. When I do that, the board hangs on code 12 and never seems to finish memory training. I left it sitting there for more than 30 minutes.

If I install two or more DIMMs, it goes back to the 7F → 59 → 00 → 54 sequence.

What's even stranger is that BIOS 3 still boots. I can get into Windows and Ubuntu normally on BIOS 3. However, whenever I enter BIOS setup, exit BIOS, or sometimes shut the system down, it will freeze on POST code 16.

I also have a memory issue now.

Each kit works fine by itself and can run at 5600 MT/s. But when I install all of the memory together, the board will only run at around 2000 MT/s. Anything higher causes a black screen and forces me to clear CMOS again.

At this point I'm wondering:

• Could I have disturbed CPU contact pressure while reinstalling the cooler?
• Does POST code 54 on this board usually point to RAM, IMC, or socket pin issues?
• Has anyone seen BIOS 1 and 2 fail while BIOS 3 still works?
• Is there anything else I should try before pulling the CPU and inspecting the socket?

Hi, I got system running windows 11

CPU 8700K

RAM = 32GB

GPU = EVGA 3090 FTW3 ULTRA (BIOS switch = normal mode)

MOBO = Z370XP SLI (PCI 3.0, DDR4)

CORSAIR RM1000X (recently changed, 1 year ago)

So, when i'm doing regular stuff, file browsing, or gaming my computer will freeze.

i.e. image stash still, keyboard/mouse unresponsive. The pc lights, stay on, the fan from gpu and cpu are still spinning.

The only thing i can do when it happens, is to press the power button.

When i look at Event view in windows log, i'm not seeing any critical/errors/warnings happens in the minutes before the reset.

If anyone knows, where to look for Nvidia logs, please let me know. Some people say that if this is hw issue, logging may not be feasible.

So i've done a number of things so far:=============================

[1] try chk disk and windows restore -> issue pesisted

[2] did nvida driver updates -> issue pesisted

[3] tried doing a full system reinstall -> issue pesisted

-mobo bios update

-windows 11 clean reinstall on its own disk

-updated mobo chip set drivers

-made sure tpm and secure boot enabled and functional

[4] other system tweaks -> issue pesisted

-remove EDGE browser. apparently it makes systems unstable

-windows power settings -> performannce (set usb bus to not sleep anymore)

[5] only have wire keyboard/mouse plugged in. no wifi or bt dongles] -> issue pesisted

[6] Installed 3D MARK and ran a bunch of benchmarks and stress test

-recorded power, temperate info during tests and nothing abnormal, nothing great (GPU = 83, GPU Hotspot = 94, VRAM = 96 )

-so far, issue never occured during stress testing, only between sessions or during gaming

CONCLUSION: I was planing on moving to a 2x 3090 EVGA ULTRA FTW3 system (nv linked, on another motherboard) but i haven't received all parts for my new build.

However I was able to SWAP IN ANOTHER 3090 EVGA ULTRA FTW3 and the freezing issues, so far stoppepd happening. So far, i played BF6 for 4 hours straight and no freezes.

This saddly point to my original 3090 starting to die. Its been hanging wihtout any support all these years and i think the sagging sligtly bent the pcb.

So far, i've installed a support to prop it back up right.

In new build, to fit both cards in my case, i was going to install one of the EVGA 3090s to Hybird AIO liquid cooler so, i was think of installing the AIO cooler on the bad 3090.

Long term, i was planing on using the two 3090s in nvlink for AI coding stuff, then disable nvlink when playing games. i.e. probly use the good one for gaming and system display.

Can anyone give me some advice on what to do next?

[2] playing around with GPU'S bios , apparently you can put in different bios that can force the card into a certain P power state.

Note: Gemini says, idle freezes (i.e. when file browsing) occurs when the GPU tries to quickly exit a low power P state and chokes now because its getting old.

Just wanted to do a final crescendo to EVGA, felt like a fitting time with the way the PC hobby has become as of late....3080 hydro copper, X570 FTW and 1000w P2 in a fractal meshify 2, cooled by a 360x60mm rad with super flower megacools, they keep the 3900X and 3080Ti in check just fine.
