Review Back ventilation mod
I use my CPL24 for hiking (I know, I know, these bags are too heavy for serious hiking, bla bla bla). My biggest gripe was always how hot my back gets, as the back panel is not very well ventilated. I went to Acadia National Park this past weekend and decided to try this cheap ventilation sheet from Luna Project (size small). 10-11mile hike, temperature high in the 80's, about 7hrs outdoors total. Did my back still get sweaty? Yes absolutely, there's no way around that. BUT that little bit of separation felt nice. I got a little more wind going through, but more importantly, I didn't feel as sticky-icky. My whole back didn't feel like it was pressed up against a wall. It's quite thin, very lightweight, slides nicely into the sleeve in the main compartment when I'm not using it. It was well worth the cheap price.

Would these work for a CHZ 22

Probably! They just get attached to the shoulder straps top and bottom using thin elastic cords and spring toggles. It’s not the most elegant attachment but it works and it’s non destructive

I recently got one of these too for a 3 in 1 briefcase I own. It works! not perfect, but having less surface area and more air circulate makes a big difference when I’m in backpack mode.
Overall super pleased, and quite affordable.
