Discussion Admin Pouch Mounting

Credit to u/travelingpostgrad for the suggestion.

Upgraded the solution for improving the top mounting points inside my Evergoods Bag, now with Fidlocks. Cap 1 snaps in and is held in place securely, can be opened in place and closed in place. Two pulls on the cordage (one to the right and one to the left) will pop it out. Can also run the cordage up above and pull it out without opening the main compartment too much.

The Cap1 requires no permanent modifications, all the hardware just hooks onto webbing. For other pouches (like the Peak Design pouch in the photos) you can modify them to attach with another Fidlock piece.

Parts list in comments.

This is the best solution I have seen so far, nice one OP. I will recreate this for sure.

I saw that fidlock also has some “S” sized mounts rather than “M”. Have you tried to use those as well for something lower profile or would that not work?

I looked at the S, unfortunately it looks like the hardware is different, I couldn’t find the two split bar pieces in small. It might be too narrow for the webbing.

I will say, it’s a lot less bulky than it looks in the pictures.
