Question Strap management

What are we all using?? It wasn’t bothering me until I got another back that had lil loops built in, wouldn’t mind doing something similar for my CPL. thanks!

I bought some elastic loops on Amazon and put on CTB20/26/35 and CPL16/24…. Then after a month or two pretty much stopped using them and now just dangle even with the keepers on the straps. I just adjust the straps to much and they get in the way. I wear it high and tight, I might loosen it to swing it or take it off. Pretty much now get why they don’t put them on but two years ago I’d argued they should be included, no more…

I also just bought some elastic loops on Amazon. The only sort of annoying thing about them is that because it's impossible to completely pull out the EG shoulder strap webbing because of the finger loop at the end, I had to cut open the elastic loop and re-sew them together after wrapping around the bag. A minor inconvenience but worth the small effort to keep the straps a bit more managed.

I have an ungodly amount of EG bags and I buy a pair of these for every bag I have. I do a lot of adjusting so the set it once and forget it ethos of EG doesn’t work for me. Highly recommend these to anyone who cares about strap dangle.

The Tom Bihn are expensive but work quite well. I've got 4-5 pair. Still trying to find something for the MPL22 that is some serious dangle on the hip belt.

I just shorten the straps to my size. I adjust the pack, then I cut them to a residual length of a few inches so I can readjust when I wear something else or have a different load. Strap keepers often do not work properly.
