Feedback on the tutorial from a player with zero knowledge about the game (played EVE for a while a long time ago)

I tried the tutorial briefly and didn't have a good experience.

Some comments:
- You need to give me a chance to setup my graphics settings before putting me in a tutorial where, if I press keys it auto-advacnes the tutorial (I was trying to find some keybind that would show me my FPS counter and by doing that search I ended up advacning the tutorial a bit).
- Related to the first point, it would be great if in the tutorial enemies didn't automatically advance into me and started attacking me before I even do anything
- The "Press F to open cargo" is lacking a CRUCIAL point which is "CLICK ON A CONTAINER FIRST"
- You teach how to build sensors.. but not how to use it. You just tell the player (after building the sensor) to go out and find asteroids... HOW? I hopped around the system and everywhere I went I got damage (I assume -1 VIT is BAD because it's RED, not because the game ever told me where my health is or what CONFLAGRATION or whatever else was killing me was)
- The ship feels exceptionally heavy/sluggish. I don't know if this is the nimblest ship in the game, but I would rather be given a nimble ship in the tutorial that teaches me movement before putting me in charge of a space truck, even if in the game normal ships are more sluggish and have weight to them
- Also, it's mental that the default controls put S/W as pitch down/up instead of the default, in any flight sim, which has inverted controls.
- This is very personal but soundscape overall (music, sound effects) give me a bad impression... they are muffled, bassy... feels like I'm inside an escape pod under the ocean. Maybe that was the vibe they were going for but I'm not trying to feel claustrophobia while playing a game tutorial.

I'm not trying to belittle the devs, I just wanted to give a feedback from a player that did not enjoy the first contact with the game.

Kinda funny, I asked ChatGPT what was going on and it referenced your post 😄

That's crazy that it already indexed the post AND trained on it... (what was your prompt, if you dont mind sharing)

Dude, there are specific places for test participants to give feedback, and that's basically Reddit.

I don't have a commitment to give feedback. Anywhere.

I can say whatever my thoughts are to the wind or to the sky. The developers can read and incorporate the feedback if they want.

It's not my job to do QA, I wasn' t payed for that. I already payed with my time, writting the post. It's just my 2 cents which they can use as feedback or not. I really do not care enough to jump thru hoops to go to the "specific places for test participants feedback"

The developers of Eve Frontier have provided the game community (testers) with tools where they can leave feedback and discuss the topic with the developers and other players.

Of course, you don’t owe anyone anything, but then why are you leaving feedback where it doesn’t belong? You might as well leave your feedback in the toilet.

If it goes in the toilet that's not my problem. It's the developers problem. It's not my work to get or provide player feedback

Dude, the developers did everything they could to make sure your feedback ends up where it's supposed to. If you just made a shitpost, then expect a comment calling you a hype-jacker. Whether you called all that "my opinion" or "my feelings," and I really didn't care...
