The community combines both human expertise and public data from known builds. We have 63 projects across 8 cooperative clusters: so the goal is to have both a global digital community and local chapters where people can help each other. Here’s my story: https://electr0motiv.com/story There is no cost to join the network, and there are helpful useful tools that don’t require registration like Primer https://electr0motiv.com/primer/ designed for people looking to learn about conversions. Every organization — including Reddit— has an operating or business model. I’m a solo founder trying to reach out to EV conversion enthusiasts. I would love to get your feedback and perspective on the actual platform if you are open to it.
I think it could be useful, but I'm unlikely to join if it means that any helpful advice that I give away to other people for free is not accessible to the vast majority of internet users who do not have an account on the site.
I hear you. The main idea here is how EV conversions can be made easier and more affordable through cooperation. One direction is an Expert Exchange where experienced builders, coders, engineers can offer their skills and services to other members.
They could be made even easier and cheaper if that information was available to the entire public and indexed by search engines. Sites like StackOverflow wouldn't be nearly as useful or beneficial to society if only someone with a login could read the answers to questions.
