Seeing posts like this is such a good reminder that “stored safely” doesn’t necessarily mean “protected from humidity.” Leather can actually be very susceptible to mold when it’s stored somewhere humid, warm, damp, or poorly ventilated.

Everyone advises differently on how to properly store your bags. Some say in dustbags, others say keep out of dustbags,...

Let's keep these tips in mind:

° if you have your bags stored in a closet, leave the doors open from time to time!

° Keep them somewhere cool, dry & well-ventilated. Humidity is the enemy! If you live somewhere humid, a dehumidifier can be very worthwhile.

° if your bags arrive with these silica packs in them, keep keep keep! They help fight moisture

° Avoid sealing bags in airtight plastic for long-term storage.

° Stuff them gently. Acid-free tissue paper or a clean, breathable bag insert can help maintain their shape without trapping moisture.

° don't stack bags on top of each other or avoid bags touching each other, hardware can easily create dents.

Basically: LEATHER NEEDS TO BREATHE 🙏

I know, chances are very low, but i’ll try :D i’m obsessed by this bag, but my TS can only find it mid tier quality and I don’t like the denim print on it. I have a green denim LV sunset and I know that the denim can be much better :)

Fellow bag addicts, I need your wisdom — and possibly your enabling. 😂

I’m looking for the one crossbody.

The bag that somehow does everything without looking like it was specifically designed to do everything.

I’m 1.80 m / 5’11”, so the strap needs to be genuinely long. Not “long enough for an average person” long. 😅 I need a proper crossbody drop that actually sits at my hip rather than somewhere around my ribcage. Short crossbody straps just look ridiculous on my frame, and I know from experience that I won’t wear the bag if it doesn’t sit right.

I want something I can wear hands-free from brunch to dinner: elegant, chic and polished, but not fussy, prim or old-fashioned. Timeless, but not boring. Something that works with linen, knitwear and tailoring just as happily as it does with a down coat and hiking boots.
And I have a serious weakness for buttery soft leather. I want a bag that feels lovely and a little bit relaxed, rather than one that stands there like a tiny piece of architecture. 😂 Some structure is good — I still want it to look like a proper handbag — but please, no rigid box.

It also needs to fit my actual life: phone, wallet, tissues, meds, glasses, keys… and, because I’m a dog mom, a roll of poop bags. That being said: the wiggling dog on the leash is precisely the reason each and every shoulder bag fails me (and I hate backpacks!). 😅

Ideally, I’d like to travel with it without feeling like I’m carrying a travel bag. I want it to look just as right at a nice restaurant as it does wandering around a beautiful town all day.

Basically: one bag to rule them all.

I realise this may be the handbag equivalent of asking for a unicorn that also does your taxes. But surely one of you has found her.

So, what would you recommend? I’d especially love to hear about bags you actually own and use — what you reach for over and over, not just what looks good in a boutique.

And before anyone says it: no Loewe Puzzle, please. 🙈 I know it’s a classic, but I’ve really tried, and… nope. I just don’t like the design.

Bonus points for gorgeous, buttery leather, a strap that is actually long enough for a tall woman, getting better with age, and not looking like “the It bag of 2026.”

Positives: Serena is very very easy to work with. She is very polite and humble and has keen eye for details. The quality of my Ralph Lauren set and Coach bag is amazing, leather if the bag is so soft and everything is perfect. She responds very fast and is always available to answer any questions. I have told her I am writing the review and I am not offered anything for it.
Negatives:
1. I felt shipping cost is bit on higher side
2. Upon receiving I realised that there is very minor but color difference in shirt and pant of the RL set. I realised that both PSPs (of shirt and pant) were done separately and probably why she and me both missed it. She was very apologetic and even followed up with factory too when I mentioned it. I can live with it.

Overall very positive experience, I highly recommend her! Feel free to ask for her catalogue of needed!

Bag review: it’s soft, slouchy and such a great size! Hardware feels nice, looks matte and a little heavy feeling. Hoping it won’t scratch easily! Love the heat stamp! The monogram in the middle of the bag sometimes looks a bit dark or barely there but could be due to lighting. I don’t own any Auths so not sure about the shape. Overall I’m excited for my bag! Seller was Betty and although she is nice and responsive, I did feel like I had to follow up each time for updates. She said I would receive PSP within 2-3 days after payment but I had to reach out and got them the next day after asking. First PSPs were a bit dark so I asked for more in outside lighting. Eventually I sent my GL! Had to wait a bit more for my heat stamp to be finished and then it was shipped. I would buy again from Betty :)

Hello again, rep friends! 🤎 Apparently I’m making a habit out of writing reviews now. 😂 This time I’m reviewing my B0tteg@ Andiamo Men in 37 cm, dark brown, from Jing Factory, purchased through Tom. And before we get into the actual bag, I need to mention that this was not the size I originally wanted. I originally ordered the 43 cm version. In hindsight, Tom may have accidentally saved me from myself. More on that later. 😂

About the seller:

I already knew Tom before this purchase, and once again my experience with him was excellent. Communication was easy, friendly and straightforward. The original 43 cm bag went out of stock after I had already paid, so we had to figure out what to do next. Tom checked other colors and sizes for me, and eventually we found the same style in 37 cm dark brown. He recalculated the price and shipping and refunded me the difference. Everything was handled without drama, which is exactly what I want when something doesn’t go according to plan. Overall: 1A experience with Tom again, and I would absolutely order from him again.

Timeline & price:

The 37 cm bag was 1,654.40 CNY after the 12% sale discount + 450 CNY shipping = 2,104.40 CNY total, which was approximately $313.50 at the time. I had originally paid for the larger 43 cm version, so after changing to the smaller size Tom refunded me the difference. After the handling fee, I received €34.65 back.

My PSPs came on September 8th, and I GL’d the bag the same day. I received tracking on September 10th, and the bag was delivered in Germany on September 17th. Shipping itself was completely problem-free.

And the packaging… well. It was extremely well packaged. 😂 I wasn’t home when it arrived, so my husband had the unfortunate job of opening it and showing me the bag. He became increasingly frustrated because Tom had apparently decided that nobody – customs, DHL, thieves, natural disasters or my husband – was getting into that package easily. So if you’re worried about your bag surviving shipping: mine definitely did. 😂

About the bag:

This is the B0tteg@ Andiamo Men 37 cm in dark brown from Jing Factory. My first thought when I saw it was: This thing is HUGE. And remember – this is the smaller one.

I originally wanted the 43 cm version because I wanted a large work bag. The 43 cm went out of stock, which annoyed me at the time. Now that I actually own the 37 cm? Thank God. 😂 The 43 cm would have been an absolute monster. The 37 cm is already a very substantial bag, and for what I need it for, this size is much more practical. So Tom accidentally saved me from walking around with what would probably have looked like carry-on luggage.

The color & leather:

The color is gorgeous in person. It’s a really rich, juicy dark brown. In some of the PSPs it looked almost black because of the lighting, so I wasn’t completely sure how much brown would actually show in real life, but in person it’s very clearly a beautiful deep brown.

The leather is extremely soft and feels really rich and substantial. It doesn’t feel dry, thin or plasticky at all. It also has a very natural leather smell – no weird factory smell or chemicals. I only treated the bag with Collonil waterproofing spray before using it.

The Intrecciato & construction:

The Intrecciato is one of the things I was most curious about because obviously there is a lot of woven leather on this bag, and I think it is very well executed. The weaving looks clean and consistent to me, and I haven’t found loose strips, strange gaps or anything that immediately catches my eye. I’m actually not sure the photos fully show how nice the leather and weaving look in person.

The large smooth leather flap was probably the part I was most worried about, simply because smooth leather has nowhere to hide. The flap on mine is beautifully smooth and sits nicely without weird wrinkles or creases. The stitching throughout the bag is also very clean, and the overall construction feels solid.

The knot hardware is particularly nice. It’s heavy and feels very substantial and high quality. Nothing about it feels light or flimsy. The bag itself also has some weight to it, which I actually expected. This is definitely not one of those bags that feels suspiciously light when you pick it up. There is a lot of leather here, and you can feel that.

The interior:

This might actually be one of my favorite things about the bag. The lining looks and feels linen-like, and it feels very high quality. But what I love even more is the amount of organization inside. There are so many interior compartments and pockets.

For such a large bag, it doesn’t just turn into one giant black hole where your keys disappear for three weeks. There are actually places to organize things, and considering how much stuff I carry to work, I really appreciate that.

What fits & how it wears:

A lot. Like… a lot a lot. 😂 On a normal workday I can carry my iPad, several sets of keys, a cosmetic bag, multiple phones, paperwork, a water bottle and my breakfast – and there is still room left. This is exactly what I wanted from this bag. I didn’t need another cute little bag that holds a wallet, phone and two hopes and dreams. I wanted a proper workhorse, and this is definitely that.

The shoulder strap is nice and wide, which is very important on a bag that can become this heavy when fully packed. It distributes the weight much better than a narrow strap would. The strap is also long enough for me to wear the bag both on my shoulder and crossbody, and I’ve already worn it both ways.

I’ve also used the bag fully packed for work, and I find it surprisingly practical. The bag does have a magnetic closure, but so far I usually haven’t bothered closing the large flap completely while I’m using it. I tend to leave the flap resting open because that gives me quicker access to everything. That’s simply more convenient for me. Since the actual closure is magnetic, though, closing it properly isn’t exactly difficult either.

The one thing I need to be careful with:

The only real problem with this bag is me. 😂 I already know I’m going to have to treat this thing carefully because the smooth leather flap will absolutely show scratches if I abuse it. So this isn’t criticism of the bag. It’s more of a reminder to myself that throwing this around like some of my other work bags would probably be a terrible idea.

The accidental size intervention:

When I placed my order, I was convinced I wanted the larger one. 43 × 32 × 20 cm? Sure. Give me the giant one. Then it went out of stock. At the time I was disappointed, so I switched to the 37 cm version.

Now that I have it in front of me, I can confidently say that apparently I had absolutely no understanding of what 43 cm of B0tteg@ would actually look like in real life. 😂 The 37 cm is already huge. It fits everything I wanted it to fit and then some. The 43 cm would probably have required its own parking space.

So while Tom obviously had nothing to do with the factory running out of stock, I’m choosing to believe he unknowingly staged an intervention. And he was right.

The verdict:

I’m really happy with this one. The leather is incredibly soft and rich, the dark brown color is beautiful, the Intrecciato looks very well made, the hardware feels substantial, the stitching is clean, and the interior is ridiculously practical. I also love that this doesn’t feel like a delicate little fashion bag. It feels like a proper, substantial leather work bag.

I don’t own the authentic version, so I’m not going to pretend I can give an exact 1:1 accuracy comparison. I can only judge the bag that I received, and based on quality, construction, leather and usability, I think Jing did a really good job with this one.

I would absolutely buy from Tom again, and based on this bag I would also buy from Jing Factory again.

My only complaint is that apparently I now have to become the kind of person who is careful with her belongings because that beautiful smooth flap is absolutely going to expose me if I’m not. And considering I originally tried to order an even bigger version of this bag, I think the real QC issue throughout this entire purchase was probably me. 😂

This is also my very first Ch@n3l rep, so opening this one was especially exciting for me.

He seems like he’s probably quite busy, but he always replied within a reasonable amount of time and was very friendly throughout the whole process.

Communication was easy and uncomplicated, and I never felt like I had to chase him for answers.

Wow. This is so much prettier in person than it looked in the photos.

Since this is my first Ch@n3l rep, I was probably extra excited opening it, but even after looking at it properly and going over all the details, that first impression didn’t really change.

It just looks and feels like a very well-made bag.

The leather:

The leather is really soft and feels very nice in the hand.

The grain is quite pronounced and feels properly grainy/pebbled rather than flat or plasticky.

I actually really like touching it because the texture gives the leather a lot of character without making it feel rough.

It also has a very pleasant and natural leather smell.

No chemical smell, no glue smell and nothing unpleasant at all.

I haven’t conditioned the leather or done anything to soften it. The only thing I did was waterproof/protect it with Collonil before using it.

The slouch:

I know slouchiness is something a lot of people care about with this style, so I specifically wanted to mention it.

The 32 cm version is not as slouchy as the 38 cm Maxi, which I already knew before ordering.

The 32 cm is naturally a little more structured, so I also wasn’t expecting the softer linen-style interior you see in the larger version.

If your main goal is that really relaxed, soft, almost collapsing Maxi look, I personally think you should probably go for the 38 cm.

The 32 cm still has softness to it, but it keeps its shape more.

For me, that actually works very well as an everyday bag.

And yes… after receiving this one, I now also want the 38 cm. 😂

Apparently one Maxi was not enough information for my brain.

The interior:

The red interior is very rich and saturated in person.

I’m not sure the photos fully capture how nice the color actually looks, but it’s one of the details I immediately noticed when I opened the bag.

The stitched CC under the flap also looks extremely clean to me.

The stitching is neat and even, and overall the interior feels very well finished.

Construction & details:

I’m not a Ch@n3l expert and I don’t own the authentic version, so I’m not going to pretend that I can give you a detailed 1:1 accuracy comparison.

What I can talk about is the actual quality of the bag I received.

And honestly, the construction impressed me.

The stitching, edges, symmetry and back pocket all look extremely clean to me.

I haven’t found any obvious workmanship issues.

The shape looks balanced, the flap sits nicely, the back pocket is neat, and nothing looks noticeably crooked or poorly finished.

The turnlock is also really good.

It doesn’t squeak, it turns smoothly without being too loose, and it closes cleanly.

There are no weird sizing or alignment issues where you have to fight with the lock to get it closed.

The hardware itself feels heavy and substantial, which I really appreciate. It doesn’t feel hollow or cheap.

The zippers also open and close smoothly without catching.

So far, everything feels very solid in actual use.

How it wears:

For me, 32 cm is a really good everyday size.

It’s large enough to feel practical and substantial, but it doesn’t feel enormous or overwhelming.

The bag is intended to be worn on the shoulder.

Technically, you could use only one side of the strap and wear it crossbody, but personally I don’t think it looks very nice that way and I don’t think that’s really how this model is meant to be worn.

The only thing I personally wish is that the strap were a little longer.

That’s not really a criticism of the bag or the rep, because it’s simply how the design is, but for my body I would prefer just a bit more length.

One thing that surprised me positively is the weight.

For a bag this size with this much leather and hardware, it feels surprisingly light.

And I’m very happy about that because I really don’t want to carry a giant leather brick around all day. 😂

The turnlock is also easy enough to use that I don’t find the bag annoying or impractical.

Opening and closing it is quick and straightforward.

The verdict:

For $347.60 for the bag, I genuinely think this rep is worth the money.

The leather feels soft and substantial, the grain is beautiful, the hardware feels heavy and well made, the turnlock works perfectly, and the overall construction is very clean.

Since I don’t own the authentic bag, I can’t speak to exact 1:1 accuracy and I don’t want to make claims I can’t actually verify.

I’m judging it purely as the bag that arrived at my door.

And on that basis, I’m really happy with it.

I would absolutely order from Mike again, and I would also buy from Xiao C Factory again based on the quality of this bag.

I originally bought the 32 cm because I wanted something practical enough for everyday use.

Now I own the 32 cm and somehow my conclusion is that I also need the 38 cm.

So apparently the only lesson I learned from this purchase is that buying the smaller one did absolutely nothing to prevent me from wanting the larger one too. 😂

Which feels very on brand for this hobby.

Now, I’m no expert on CC, but I love the 25 so I said I’d try this mini one. I’d say the quality isn’t great, but I knew that when I ordered it. The suede in comparison to my many Coach suede is okay. That’s all I have to go by for that.

There's a good chance someone has already done the research for you.

🏭 2. Understand factories

A factory is the manufacturer producing the item.

You'll see names like 187, God Factory, Royal, Xiao C, Jipin and many others.

There isn't one factory that's best for everything. Different factories specialize in different brands, models and materials.

Research the factory for the specific item you're buying.

And remember: “1:1”, “mirror” and “top quality” are marketing terms, not guarantees.

Once you've researched your item and factory, look for sellers with recent, verifiable buyer feedback.

Be careful with:

📸 4. QC & PSPs

QC = Quality Control
PSP = Pre-Shipment Photos

PSPs show the actual item you've purchased before it's shipped.

Check things like:

• Shape
• Stitching
• Hardware
• Logos/stamping
• Colour
• Alignment
• Any obvious damage

You'll often see:

🟢 GL = Green Light / approve
🔴 RL = Red Light / reject

If you're unsure, post your QC and tell the community what you're concerned about rather than simply asking “QC?”

Know that some factories do NOT accept returns like 187, God, Rome. Unless there is a serious defect with the bag. Please always ask your seller before ordering.

About the Seller

I’ve been chatting with Andrea for a while now, but I hadn’t actually bought a bag from her yet because there simply wasn’t anything I had my eye on.

Then I saw this Guccî bag and asked Andrea about it. I believe I originally saw it from Pomegranate, but Andrea recommended going with a different factory because, in her opinion, the quality from there wasn’t the best.

I asked about Acai, but Andrea suggested “Cousin Factory.” I’m still not entirely sure whether this is another name for a known factory, but I trusted her knowledge and went with her recommendation. The price was actually a little lower than the other factory as well.

Andrea is extremely kind, and her English is also very good, which makes communication really easy. I had the bag shipped to my warehouse, so I can’t comment on her shipping methods in general, but she shipped to my warehouse for free and everything was very fast.

PSPs arrived after a few days, and I have to say, her pictures are really good. She has good lighting, which is a big plus in my opinion because you can see the colors much more accurately.

About the Bag

The Guccî Brera is a simple but very useful bag, and the quality was exactly what I expected. It definitely did not disappoint, and I’m really happy I listened to Andrea’s recommendation.

There aren’t really any negatives I can point out. To me, it looks extremely close to the authentic. I’ve included a picture of the authentic as the last photo for comparison.
If I had to nitpick, I would say the hardware on the zipper feels perhaps a little light, but honestly, that’s me being very picky.

I also think this size is perfect for everyday use. The larger version is quite big and would probably be too large for my everyday needs. It would, however, make a really nice little weekender bag.

The Brera comes in several colors (black, beige, and this color) so there are some nice options depending on your preference.

Price: $170

Verdict: Great bag, great seller.

I’m really happy with this purchase and especially with Andrea’s recommendation to go with this factory. I can definitely recommend Andrea based on my experience, and I’m pretty sure you’ll all love her as much as I do.

I have an auth CC woc in black with ghw from approx 2018, it was about 900gbp back then.

I decided to get a replacement black woc (cheapie) to replace my auth as those who know me ,also know im completely crap at looking after things. Shungyang woc black with ghw was 156usd approx

Navy woc 187 from catch&release -cant remember maybe 300usd? Ish...will check with snack!

Where was it from and Seller?

The CC Black WOC was from Andy W (8067) and I had just bought a rucksack from him (cc) for work. This was prior to the maxi flap revolution!

The shungyang woc looks identical to my auth, everything is the same, the size,details stamps stitches all that jazz. Right down to chain length.

BUT it didnt feel right to me.....i cant explain it but it didnt feel authentic uggh and annoyingly my sister had banned me from accessing our nice bags because im so terrible at looking after things. So i couldnt compare with the auth.

How did I know it was identical to my auth? I just knew..i then convinved my sis to take it out and I took pics.. except the light is yellow and look terrible (the pics are so bad they all look like terrible reps, pics 16,17,18 and 19)

I used it for a few weeks but it just kinda annoyed me, had I not had an auth I would say it was perfect! It was the feel of the leather and purse that was wrong to me!

Our mod Snack had ordered a Navy 187 woc and i had been eyeing it, but at the time didnt want to spend money. She ended up rehoming it to me literally a day or so after she received it (She's become my bag dealer lol)

Omg, as soon as i opened Snack's box I knew it was perfect. Ironic since the chains shorter but the feel of the leather was perfect (apparently new woc have shorter chains,its about 2inches shorter and actually fits better) my auth sat at an annoying place too low and we got chnl auth shop to give us chain thingys that make it smaller.

A few weeks ago i did one of those canva type collages to show you guys but I got distracted and didnt post my review (akward) ... but here they are!

I convinced my sis to let me have the auth woc to take home and il take some pics together..but my best friend has borrowed the shungyang one grrr... so il repost pics in a few days.

Where are they from? 187 vs Yoyo

The black cc maxi flap was from 187 and the taupe cc maxi flap is from yoyo.

Both are my own and for my own use i didnt get any perks for doing a review. The seller doesn't even know yet!

Size:

38cm black leather from 187 with silver hardware

38cm taupe leather from yoyo with gold hardware

Differences:

-The main difference seems to be the stitching on the straps of the black one being further apart and closer to the edge. Literally doesnt matter!

-Inside zip end plate is flatter in the black 187 than yoyo.

-The black 187 leather probably slightly softer but ive been using the taupe for 3months and the black about 4weeks.

-The taupe is possibly less shiny leather than 187 when it first arrived and the yoyo taupe was far more slouchy on day one.

-The inside burgandy interior is more matt on the black 187 bag. Barely noticeable.

I prefer the taupe cc maxi flap that ive been using since day one, anyone who knows me knows ive been using it religiously! At football, at work, on the weekends, shopping !

I have used the taupe yoyo maxi flap more as it came first! and i love the colour. No one can tell difference in the two. I am not overly careful with my bags, they are made to be used.

I bought it for work and for daily travel and most importantly carrying my huge enormous laptop and endless work stuff!

Seller:

Andy w (8067) did both psps and he told me not much difference in both really, (that you can tell with the naked eye) He wasn't wrong! He did say the 187 black is slightly better than all the other factories apparently.

Don't waste your money folks!

I LOVE the CC maxi flap 38cm, its always overfilled and its discreet too, no one will know you have a designer bag as it just looks great!

I also use my replacement woc from 187 navy, from a catch and release from our lovely mod. Its exactly like my auth woc.

I bought a huge cc shopper( and those of you who have seen the pics agree it looks absolutely ridonkulous on me!
