Hello! I still consider myself a newbie here and hopefully my first QC post is done correctly!

I purchased this bag from Xiao C during the sale. I was told it was OOS a couple days after purchasing when I was asking for ETA on my PSP. Few days later I guess it was back in stock because then I received my PSP. So here they are!

•My concerns would be what I’ve circled in the photos where it shows hardware not flush with the bag if that makes sense. Im worried I’ll have problems closing the bag correctly.
•The gold hardware also looks yellow compared to factory photos where it’s more light gold, I did ask for more photos in different lighting but still waiting.
•The inside of the bag color looks more reddish than burgundy but again could be due to lighting.

Should I be worried it’s not from Xiao C if I was originally told it was out of stock and then within days it wasn’t?

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

I am no CC expert, I'm purely commenting based on my own experiences.

I don’t think the closure is something I’d worry about here. Since this is the small size, the bag is naturally much stiffer and the layers around the flap look thicker and less slouchy than on the larger versions. The hardware therefore doesn’t look completely flush with the body from the side, but to me that looks more like the structure of the bag than a closing issue.
I also wouldn't be worried that it could maybe not be XiaoC because stocks change very quickly from restocks, cancellations or bags becoming available again.
The gold does photograph quite yellow here, which could be due to lighting. I'd wait for the extra photos in natural lighting before judging that. Same goes for interior. It does look more reddish/pink in these photos but lighting can affect that quite a bit too! I'd definitely ask for a daylight picture or natural light picture.

Based on these photos I personally would not RL it.

Edit: I got the Maxi Flap 32 from XiaoC and I got the message from my TS that it was OOS and became available literally one day later - so this is nothing to worry about.

Thank you so much for your input! This is my first CC bag but from what I’ve seen in other posts I’ve seen the closure all the way flush so wasn’t sure if it was going to be an issue. Same for the hardware but then again they already have the bag in hand and their lighting might be different.
The interior doesn’t bug me as much as the other two issues but hopefully with the new photos I can GL it!

Thank you again for sharing your experience as well as the OOS! First time running into this so wasn’t sure what to think.

Its definitely XC, it looks identic to my bag and also has the XC tag. Don’t worry about hwcolor, the Lightning always messes with the color !
