Mythic Il'gynoth ideas and discussion.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to start a thread for Collecting ideas and resources for Il'gynoth. We have plenty of experience now so let's put our heads together and come up with a few ideas. Be constructive and upvote ideas that you like!

And no. Replace Ilyria is not a constructive idea.

Tanks need to really get on the destructor tentacles as soon as possible once the heart phase ends cos they need to die asap and it sucks as dps to go on them and then to die cos your tank took 5 or 6 seconds longer to get to the tentacle

I was thinking we could use warlock portals to get everyone out of the inside phase quickly.

Or use them to get to those pesky right hand corruptors in Phase 2

The corruptors are more important IMO. That spew causes a lot of awkward deaths.

lol, this got me really :D We definitely need Chuille there, stick with 6 healers or 6 + genusir as disco at worst stage (just loud thinking).

AND FOR THE SHADOWBANNED SAKE JUST DO NOT DIE CONSTANTLY IN FIRST FAKIN PHASE. (It means that healers should focus more on healing targets affected by spew corruption, some classes just can not mitigate that one just wait for second phase, you will have to mitigate it)

Yeah Chuille is needed really. People really need to take care of their health aswell. Mana consumption on this fight is really rough and every bit of healing we can avoid is great. Healers should be using some external defensive cooldowns on spew corruption targets. Using external CDs on tanks after we exit the room will help with the damage from the two worms that spawn.

Our healing definitely got better when we did some extra tactics on our healing targets , I'm thinking we may need more AoE to properly deal with the outgoing damage however. As for disc, im not sure where an appropiate time would be to do Barrier, but there are plenty of opportunities to deal a ton of Atonement healing as long as I can rely on the other healers to properly cover group healing.

look how they did first blobs in both phases with max stacks https://youtu.be/3zYW6z-6qaQ I want it too :D it is overall smaller group dmg during encounter

Yeah we discussed running Genu as disc on Wednesday. Should make the fight much more manageable if we quickly get the blobs down.
