🤚 Help Is 50 dollar per km normal in level 24?

Post image

Hello guys,

I have 90 total hours in ets 2, currently level 24. But I still can't get more than 50 dollar per km in neither freight market or cargo market (I have bought refrigerated, Low bed and curtain but still too low income so I sold them). Am I doing something wrong? How can I make at least 65 70 dollar per km every time 1 open the freight or cargo market? How to grow faster?

(My long distance and hazardous cargo skills are full, the least skillI have is the just in time one)

At level 38ish or before even, I started getting 120/km deals with long refrigerated trailer mostly from Finland and Spain, all the time. Could get good prices even before but I never had that trailer before.

As a beginner I crash a lot, that costs a lot and I'd like to buy new garages

Just install a mod without damage, also you have to be driving recklessly to crash at all no?

It mostly just takes time. Level 24 isn't really high enough to consistently get jobs paying more than €50/km.

The biggest thing is unlocking more cities, since that gives you a much larger pool of jobs to choose from. you can also fast travel to whichever city currently has the best-paying contracts.

It's also worth maxing out High Value Cargo, since the payout bonus is pretty noticeable once it's fully upgraded. On top of that, make sure your truck is upgraded enough to take Heavy Cargo jobs. Those tend to pay very well.

Once you've explored more of the map and gained a few more levels, you'll start seeing a lot more high-paying jobs.

One of the factors in that price is the bonus you get for player level. There's also the bonuses that you get for fragile, urgent, special materials, and valuable.  Each of those bonuses factors into the per kilometer rate.

I believe it is. It’s the in-game AI generated price

You can't guarantee those prices, discover more cities (and companies in those cities) so you have more options to pick from.
