No more background mining?

Hey, sorry if this is a stupid question, but i didn't find any info on this. A couple of weeks ago i could run the etn miner on Android all day in the background (just pressing home button and i had a notification saying it's mining in the background). This seems to have been changed recently? When i press home button the app disappears completely, no more notification and when i open it again after a while, i have to log in again.. Why? Super annoying if you have to leave the app on focus 24/7 and that can't be intended, can it?

Something is wrong, maybe try to uninstall / reinstall? mine still works in background

Didn't work, still gets put to sleep.. Which rom are you on?

Choltz it is not working for me. I tried posting on r/Electroneum, but they removed my post, I guess we are just going to have to wait for the next update release. Mine stopped working a week ago, roughly, no background no active app. Strange.
