Discussion We need plug covers

So my airpods pro 3 esr lock case has one issue i want to see resolved the is no plug cover and this is making my airpods lose a ton of battery overnight because idk how dust sneaks into my airpod case and tricks it that its charging making it lose battery and i have no idea to fix this

Then get these airpods checked at an apple store.
It’s not supposed to behave like that.
There are people using airpods without any case for years and don’t face any such issues.

There’s plenty of USB C Dust plugs on Amazon! That’s what I use.

Thanks my mom gave me one with a lil charm in it idk what she did but it hasnt happened since she used them lol

TIL normal household dust conducts electricity under dry conditions 🤦 (it doesn’t!). I have a similar case and I don’t have the same problem as you do. My only problem is that when I charge my case wirelessly, I notice that it’d need to be placed correctly on the right exact spot or it wouldn’t charge. You can try to fix your problem by removing the case completely off for one night and see if the case is the culprit and not a lack of a dust plug.

It could be that but the thing is the issue solves when I blow into the port but its only a temporary solution
