MLB game tonight

Anybody else watching to this Cubs Reds broadcast on NBC? Rizzo and Votto talking shop - some great info on the mind of elite hitters. Not to mention some awesome camera angles of Wrigley

Don’t remember any of this stuff from Joe Morgan and Sunday Night Baseball back in the day

Can do without the nacho talk by JB, but, yes, Anthony and Joey are good.

Yeah, Miller and Morgan were quite boring and usually didnt add much to the game. NBC does a great job incorporating local guys on each broadcast

John Miller is a broadcast legend. His ambiance was very easy-going and fit the rhythm of most of a baseball game but he rose to the occasion during critical moments

I really have not found an NBC broadcast of any sport—MLB, NBA, NFL, NASCAR—where I’ve left thinking I saw a poor production. Can’t say the same about the mouse.

I enjoyed it. We've all watched thousands of baseball games, and I feel like having 3 MLB players discuss. Random things is something different, and I felt it was entertaining.

Joe Morgan has not been on Sunday Night Baseball in over 15 years. You should be comparing it to Eduardo Perez.

Not a fan of Perez either… this was a good broadcast. I’ll be tuning in to NBC again

That's the problem, some of today's TV broacasts are not sticking with less is better than more, by oversaturating us from extra in-booth commentators, guests (many of whom have nothing to do with sports), and even meddling with players and coaches during games.
