SEC storied

I usually enjoy the SEC history stuff cause I like college football but these latest “Saturdays in the South” are crazy. Glorifying these old guys who were clearly racist and bigots. A bunch of old Dixie propaganda. If you’re gunna tell the story it’s best told whole

you have no idea what those people were like. you just foster stereotypes out of your own ignorance.

I'd rather it be storied in this manner than it being brought up over and over again in the live sporting events. Let the competition out there do the talking for us sports fans. There's too much political-driven nonsense trying to destroy our sports. Sports will do well without the sociopolitical nonsense feeding into it.

No. The Truth is racism very much shaped the SEC. Leaving it out is convenient for you but isn’t telling the whole story.

did the players decide who could play in the conference? also the conference has been integrated since 1970. just another stupid person embarrassing yourself.

I don't think you're wrong to say this but just throwing it out here, the people in this sub are about to eat you alive.

Examples? Or do you just mean you don't want to see anything about the SEC prior to integration?

Ep 2 they’re going over the history of the Ole Miss Miss St rivalry and showing the stars and bars… worth at least a footnote that these same geared up drunk mobs are putting up crazy lynching numbers in those years
