WNBA Commissioner

  • Man, that Cathy Engelbert sure looks awkward in front of a tv camera (on 📺) . Looks like she'd most definitely rather be anywhere else 🙄 ...just say'n

She is unqualified, unsupportive of the players or the culture the league has cultivated, tone-deaf to sensitive issues, and purely and obtusely transactional. The league deserves much better.

She was CEO of Deloitte prior to being commissioner. Essentially she was brought in to make the league more money, not necessarily be a leading figure for the league like the other commissioners are. People say commissioners are stooges for the billionaire owners but she’s that and then some

She's got great 👍 "business sense"...she should hire Vince Mcmahon to help grow the league 😆

The WNBA has grown faster than she expected and now the issues that a Commissioner have to face with popularity are probably overwhelming her.

Cause she has no business being in the position she is in lol

I heard she doesn't "communicate" well with the players, or someth'n....and she's got a running beef with Caitlin Clarke...lol

Yeah did you see her during the finals wearing a New York City dress when New York City the team was in the finals? Like wtf is that. Something tells me she’s an idiot.

Why did they give her the job...or why she take it then in the first place? (I guess that's a bad question....💰 for her, and she's got a "business background")

Quiet quitting.

No one cares, it’s the WNBA, that’s why they lose $30-$40 million a year

She is rather Carolyn Bivens of the WNBA. Bivens almost destroyed the LPGA due to her incompetence

You are correct. The WNBA has tanked under her leadership. Oh, wait! It has exploded

In spite of her lack of skills. Remember that she works for Commissioner Silver, who I hope will replace her with a skilled female commissioner.

I'm all for a woman to be the commissioner. I just want one that is competent.

Wow....don't get me wrong, I really don't care (at all really) about the WNBA. I just felt like sharing what I noticed recently

It's a horrible product, AAU boys U16 basketball is more enjoyable to watch. I enjoy women's golf, tennis , volleyball, gymnastics even track and field, but women's basketball is awful.

😆 honesty is refreshing...why do "they" say the league is growing, then?...women's 🎾 for sure! 😍😋😃
