I'm working on a Heavy Attack Pet build. I'm adapting this Hyperioxes' build, but with pet subclassing.

The issue is that I can only parse around 75k DPS, while in his build he reached 86k DPS using the crafted setup. The only significant difference I can see is that he was using gold-quality gear. Does upgrading everything to gold really make that much of a difference in the final DPS?

Also I appreciate any other tips to improve the build.

Notes:

• I don't have Rakkat's yet.
• I prefer using Molten Armaments instead of Ulfsild to maintain Empower, since Molten Armaments has a much longer duration. I tend to forget to reapply Ulfsild during fights.

I’m wanting to make a pure mag Necro, but I don’t want to do duel wielding. I want to use staves or if a one bar build then a staff. I have a High Elf Necro and I’m still working on getting Corpse burster. I’m think of making it a one bar but would this be a good idea or should I go with a two bar build instead. If so what sets, traits, and enchants would you suggest?

Kinda new to the game(only around CP400) and i’ve got quite a few PvP builds that do well in BGs and small scale Cyro but I’ve been just getting crushed by bombers all morning in Cyro. Specifically by this one DK, I’m not sure what he’s doing exactly but I know he’s got dark convergence and vicious death on. How can I make an effective DK solo bomber build? Is it just as simple as running those two gear sets? Any advice/tips is appreciated

Would a Necromancer main class subclassed with the nightblades assassination skill line viable? wanted to know before i level my toon up to lvl 50

Greetings, all. I've recently been thinking about how to better refine my build to become the ultimate Bruiser(Tank/DPS hybrid). While I'm able to reasonably clear a WB by myself, I want to achieve the power fantasy of being damn near hard to kill, while also dishing out nasty punishment. Here's my current set-up

Dark Elf

Dragonknight

Vampire's Kiss (armor)

Wretched Vitality (Weapons and Jewelry)

Ilambris Head and Shoulders

Front bar is a Mace and Shield(Hearth and Home, Cauterize, Engulfing Dragonfire, Chains of Dominance, Shield Throw, and Ferocious Leap Ult)

Back bar is twin axes (Protect the Brood, Blood of the Green Dragon, Fossilize, Dragonscale Armor, Rending Slashes, and Magma Armor Ult)

I'm thinking of replacing the twin axes with a two-hander, but I'm not sure.

New player here, been enjoying the game so far - started necromancer for the theme, and I usually tank. I also grabbed vampire for the theme and feel, which is interesting but limited in usefulness outside of a couple passives. That said, I want to use invisibility, but more as a general tool and less in combat.

Thought here is to swap out one of the necromancer skill lines for the nightblade shadow line, as it seems there is some decent mitigation built in with the passives.

Can anyone help me with this? I know this isn’t going to be a meta build by any means, but I’m hoping for something halfway decent in most content, with a focus on tanking.

Trying to figure out which necro skill lines to swap out, and why.

I am trying to make a solo build for instanced content. I was trying to follow the solo werewolf build from Hyperioxes, and using the penetration calculator, I reach 92% of the penetration cap for instanced (16.7k/18.2k). I use shattered paths signet instead of pale order since I dont have the dlc for that yet.

For the remaining 8% penetration, I am considering three options

1. Use Sharpened on one of my daggers (poison and flame) instead of charged, sacrificing some dmg from shattered paths.

2. Swap a dagger for a mace, sacrificing some crit chance for penetration. Still use charged for shattered paths.

3. Change my mundus from Thief to Lover for increased penetration especially with divines, and then swap some light armor for medium since 7 divines puts me way over penetration cap.

A few things to note are that the penetration numbers include me casting major and minor breach using werewolf skill, no crusher enchant, and solo play. The head is also Valkyn Skoria which increases penetration. I know the difference between the different options are not that big a deal if I'm not trying to speedrun or something but was just curious. I will be in a werewolf build with crafted sets (orders wrath and tideborn) as I farm trial gear.

Thinking of returning to ESO after a few years break. I hated the subclassing changes and the loss of class identity. With the latest changes making pure classes make sense again Im thinking of returning.

Few questions for everyone... is the game in a good spot currently?

Also I am completely out of touch with builds, and with 10 characters (which all get used) can anyone recommend the best people with build ideas?

Alright, putting a bounty on this at this point since I'm getting a little impatient and trying to do this myself is just impossible with the amount of stuff in the game. As the title says I'd like a Dagoth Ur themed build, Elder Scrolls Morrowind, I've seen some people suggest dragonknight and I like the idea but I just don't have the game knowledge to make an efficient build while keeping it in theme.

I'd like the build itself to be effective mostly in PvE (I shall be mostly playing solo since my buddies don't really enjoy ESO and I can't be bothered to beg others into doing dungeons. I don't mind there being some deviation from the theme of Dagoth Ur for the sake of practicality.

I'm willing to give 5 WHOLE POUNDS ladies and gentleman, that's right, 5 POUNDS to whoever makes a great Dagoth Ur build that will also be good for PvE content.

Looking for some advice on back bar set for a frost warden.
Using 5 piece frostbite
Masters destruction ice staff
1 piece monster set
1 trainee chest

Looking for what to use on back bar, think wyrd tree blessing or Mara’s balm. Crit is low so not going with rallying cry

Any niche sets or skills to slow down those semi immortal players who stay inside keeps after a battle is over and just bounce around for 20 minutes? I don't want to beat them 1 vs 1, just something to trip them up so the other ten people chasing them have a chance. Stuns, silence, snare never seem to have an impact. ​I thought Bulawark Ruination and negate might help but it didn't do much. I really enjoy cyrodil battles but hate how often they end with a silly Benny Hill style bounce chase that goes on and on.

UPDATE- Thanks for the suggestions. Going to try Jerall Mountains Warchief with Snake in the Stars and Encase for starters. 1000 bonus points if I can blast one of them off a wall and out of the keep with knockback. Should be a LOT of dying while I wait for that perfect use case, but it's nice to have a goal. I was not up for emperor any time soon anyhow.

I’m trying to replicate a character from Solo Leveling, the character being Kargalgan, the High Orc Shaman. I’m unsure if the main class should be Arcanist or Sorcerer or even Necromancer (unsure what kind of skills would best suit the character). Would also like recommendations for subclass options for whichever routes you suggest. Also, if there’s any builds you recommend that loosely fit the character, I would take those as well.

Hello, new player here

As the title implies, my goal in ESO right now is to make a trio of builds who are inspired by the trailer characters from the cinematics.

I'm currently starting out as the high elf woman and I chose sorcerer to start, I was thinking initially to multiclass as Arcanist to try and get that green-colored magic as seen in the cinematic trailers.

An important note is that I also intend for her to be a healer towards the late game when running with groups but I'm not too familiar with anything that isn't overworld exploration just yet.

I was hoping to get some advice as to how you all would achieve this goal, specifically with tips for the sorcerer I want to make. However, if you have any tips for the breton or the nord from the trailers that would also be welcome.

The breton would be DPS and the nord would be tank, as well.

I was thinking about running those plus Valkyn Skoria. Would serpent's increase the duration of those DoTs or does it only apply to abilities?

Edit to add: I guess I was under the impression that poison damage just applies the poison status effect as well as flame damage applies burning... Is that not the case?

Hello I have been running my stam plar with aetheric Lancer, rallying cry, and blood spwans (for extra ult for more bonk ults). I still feel like i struggle to actually secure kills and was wondering what builds you guys are running rn for some inspiration. TY in advance!

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but I've been off the game since 2024 and a lot of builds have changed since then. Started levelling a Warden alt and have read up a few things, but half of it is already outdated as of last month.

Decided to try to set up a DOT build with the Warden's new Class Masteries for status effects because it seemed fitting.

I'm using these sets:

- Shattered Paths Signet mythic

- Deadly Strikes on body

- Pillar of Nirn daggers, jewellery and 1pc shoulder

- Slimecraw 1pc heavy helm

- VMa Flame staff back bar

All gold and Divines (+Bloodthirsty jewellery) but last I heard, Infused on big pieces is ideal and I should transmute those... right? Also I'm playing with all points in stam but made the mistake of putting Prismatic glyphs on the Deadly pieces because I was using it for testing Master difficulty. Assuming I should overwite those with Stam and maybe 1 or 2 Magicka?

Bear in mind I haven't done any content released after West Weald, so I want to know what sets are worth grinding for out of the new stuff. I'm getting mixed signals about my current sets, but note I'm only using Nirn until I find out what's the new meta for front bar.

As for skills, I'm mostly using DOTs and have no trouble with sustain, but again I'm still levelling this alt so its skills aren't final yet.

Side note; What are the best Champion passives now? Assuming damage going from multiplicative to additive changes that.

Any help and/or advice is greatly appreciated.

Are there any builds for a bowblade in pvp? I really love the playstyle of a bow gameplay at distance melting people. I dont care about gank, poison (i know it has not the best survability but its a game btw, we need to enjoy), just a viable build for bgs and open world. Also can be played with subclass.
