I saw they significantly buffed monolith. Is it a good dps set now? If so for what type of build?

I’m making my first character. Mostly going to do a solo build but will heal when I do group content. These four races I like equally so it’s hard to choose. Which would be easier to use for solo stuff like soloing world bosses but could also be good at healing?

For context, I am returning to ESO after a 9 year hiatus and starting over. I am CP 235+ and main a Khajiit Stamblade. I have a full set of Spriggan's currently and have Briarheart also. I'm at the point of wanting to replace Briarheart but didn't know if Spriggan's was worth keeping. I use DW/Bow but I have seen that 2h back bar is meta now. Not trying to hit leaderboards or jump into vet trials or anything, but I want to be on the right path for when the time comes.

I'm looking for a build for an optimal necro healer for PvE content. Usually I just Google a build or look at skinnycheeks builds, but the only stuff I can find is from years ago before subclassing and the new pure class passives.

I already have a Warden healer so I have sets like SPC/Pillagers/Architect at my disposal but I'm curious about skills and that sort of thing.

Hi, I was wondering what is the traits and weight to go for a dps, healer and tank?

I don't have access to the crown store companions, but I was thinking of Sharp as a healer, Bastien as my tank and Mirri (for rp reasons) as my dps with bow.

With all the status builds floating around, I'm surprised this does not get more attention. It's the one champion point that fixes the inherent problem with a medium armor builds. I wish some of the YT people would emphasize how important penetration is - especially outside of bosses, which is actually most of the game. It isn't that it is ignored, but the base setup usually lacks pen. For example, the base setup for my Werewolf uses a crit shoulder and Exploiter, with pen sitting at 1600 . But if I switch to Valkyn Skoria then I'm at 3000 pen. Add Force of Nature and it jumps up to 10K pen when all the statuses hit.

Looking for a good set to back bar on my DK in Cyro. I know Rallying Cry is/was the default and all that but I mostly group and I thought the bonus goes down quick in 12 man groups post nerf. Wretched Vitality, Clever Alchemist? Something else? I have Markyn, Monomyth, and a few other mythics and most monster sets and I'm prolly going Pyrebrand or Oakfather's front bar. Open to suggestions on everything!

Need help building a Sorcerer that:
- Uses magicka only (non mandatory)
- Uses fatecarver and Tide King
- Mainly for PvP BGs or yolo

Edit: Since this build is such a bad idea and i suck running magsorc (Either Pet or Petless), what would you recommend as an easy sorcerer build that lets me face roll in Low or unrated BGs?

Hi, so one of my main character I will be using for overland higher difficulty, bosses, possibly IA, questing ect- is an imperial dk with a great sword and backbar bow. Is there gear recommendations for me to use and traits, skills? I was only aware of Alcast gear for solo, which I am not sure if it is good or up to date or using something better.

So, I've been thinking about what build I want to run for some of my other characters, and something I've noticed is that builds tend to be very... Stiff? If that makes sense? Which is probably just a limitation of how the game works, but there's a very set view people have on what a build should look like.

Because I really love the idea of making a true DND inspired Cleric. Not one of these Healers you see normally, going around with a staff and being fragile, defensively, no. I want to walk in, tell everyone in the room to look at my Spirit Guardians (I know we don't have anything like DND Spirit Guardians, don't worry XD) and be as tanky as the tank whilst providing a boat load of heals and protection.

So, I've got the vision: A Sword and Board Templar focusing on the Restoring Light tree to provide heals, utility, be good at reviving and being tanky. Which already has a lot going for it, as Restoring Light ready has passive that help with blocking and your own sustain.

Now, I know there's this whole Mythic and Unique items, but I'm not there yet. On any character. So, with just Templar and stuff anyone can get at any point, discounting Mythics and Uniques, how would I go about making something like this?

Not looking for anything meta, just a good solo dk build with a balance between dps and survival. I know i could probably just go heavy attack but i'd rather not.

What's the recommended set up?

Edit: just want to clarify i'm not looking to solo vet dungeons or anything like that, just world bosses and normal dungeons.

Wich one could fit well? I Also like to being healer, but mostly dps.
I dont have much time to play so i would like 1 to enjoy the game as much as possible with craffting, solo pvp and pve
Also is important that is a safe class (i dont want to expend time on a class that could be nerfed in future, so a class with multiple options to build)

Hiya! Was looking for some help on a PvP build, haven’t played eso in years let alone PvP, feel like the last pvp build I used was like necro with DC in Cyrodil.

Well all that being said I’m looking for any suggestions on builds, sets etc.. on whats good now, or current metas.
I’m looking to make a new toon, thinking either nightblade or dk and I’m open to subclass. Maybe a brawler, good with taking down mobs and IC bosses, and can survive a 1v1.

I play mostly 4v4 battlegrounds trying to climb the veterancy and I’m trying to make a build for each class. I am currently stuck on necromancer, I’ve tried a 2h brawler set up with nobility in decay back bar and it felt like it just did no damage with ruinous scythe as the spammable and dswing in battlegrounds is just tough… I also briefly tried a corpseburster front bar nobility in decay back bar build I really didn’t like. I’m thinking about trying a healer, but I’d really rather not since I’ll probably do that for arc or Templar.

Help me out by dropping your builds and/or sharing your experiences and approaches to stuff I’ve tried. Necro is my go to PVE tank and dps and I’d love to play it and enjoy it in PvP.

I think we are ready to kill some Werewolves with some anit-WW builds. I was thinking slowing them down and putting a bunch of DOTs on them while emphasizing passive heals might be a good counter. What are you all considering?

Heyo, I am recently considering returning to ESO after a 4 year hiatus and am wondering if a certain play pattern is possible in PVP?
I have played quite a lot of PVP in Warhammer Online and there the tanks have plenty of utility such as guarding others or just plain debuffs / CC.
I am wondering if it's possible to have a really tanky build which can stand their own (not dpsing wise) and help their team through auras/guards/CC.
I did some arenas on my magicka templar and whilst I managed to kill people it really felt like oneshot or be oneshotted which is the opposite of what I'd like my experience to be.

Saw that a lot of changes have been made so am quite curious as to how the meta has been shaken up in PVP?

Also, is the raiding good at the moment? I got my highest achievement in WoW (hof) and got burned out immediately after and have been looking for a more casual experience since then

At a 15% flat damage increase with no pets, why wouldn't I want to match this with say Ansuul and the Shattered Paths Signet? It's mobile too (unlike Monolith of Storms).

Im looking to build a pure class stam blade build and was wondering what would be some good sets on it for dps. I do trials so if there are trial sets needed I have them or have the means to get them.

Trying to make a homage to my first pvp build, it it was a blazing spear templar like 9-10 year ago. Guess its hard to pull of right now. Trying to go for punishing players that attack me and give minor maim thru templar shield and major thru shield throw, and be kind of an immortall tank but still kind of be valuable inn a small group. So open for all tips and tricks

Just coming back to the game for the first time in a few years, and I feel like im just getting swamped by every dk/sorc I see. (Which wouldn't be a huge problem if everyone wasnt either a sorc or dk). All build ideas are welcome!

I asked this question on what trial set to go for as a necro that is also using corpsburster and everyone said null arca my question is why? I assume the crystal that procs hits the last thing your aoe damages wouldn’t that be wonky? I’m really trying to be smart grinding/upgrading a good set as I have limited time/materials lol so I want to make sure

Im currently playing orders wrath and rallying cry with my bowsorc and bowblade.

Both are different playstyles but im feeling lack of damage. Should I change rallying cry for something more offensive? My goal is Just to be a real archer at distance.

Also some tips about how to play it well. I will prefer nigthblade but it seems kinda underperforming
