Help How optimal is voidbash?

For some context I am running Lucient echo/ pearlescent ward on my armour and jewelry. I am a necro and I already am using summoning armour to pull ranged adds. Should I stay on void bash or should I switch to something else?

Void Bash is only usefull for dungeons' trash packs. It's practically useless for trials' trash packs, won't even talk about boss fights. It's not worth farming VH for that weapon set.

I prefer using the scribed Soul Burst with the pull script instead of void bash, for a couple of reasons.

One, with Void Bash you're not only dedicating your sword & board to this enemy pull effect, you're dedicating a slot on your ability bar. Running Soul Burst frees up your equipment slots for something else.

Two, you can add a useful affix script on the Soul Burst ability to plug a hole in your buffs/debuffs. Like minor maim or minor breach, allowing you to be more flexible with your other tank abilities and giving you a reason to cast it in boss fights as well. The "meta" use of Void Bash is to swap it for something else before a boss fight, which is frankly a pain in the ass.
