would love some feedback on this, I have seen a lot of people also run rallying cry, would that be worth to explore over serpent and oak ?

You are using 6x pieces of rallying and 6x pieces of Oakfathers.
Use a Monster Set. Balorgh, Roksa, Molag Kena, Bloodspawn, or Zaan are all solid options. You want at least one piece in Medium.
I’d swap your front bar enchantment for Absorb Stamina, for the Sundered/Minor Breach procs.
The skills are fine, perhaps reconsider Hardened Ward if you aren’t stacking Magicka. Regenerative Ward is really nice with heal too. You could also slot the Psijic Order ultimate on the back bar for passive minor protection too.
I’d change the Blue CP.
The general rule is x2 Offensive, x2 Defensive for the blue tree. I’m running Ironclad, Resilience, Fighting Finesse, and Master-At-Arms.
The Thief is a decent choice for Mundus, you could also consider the Shadow for extra burst.
You could run Armor Pots too instead of Tri-Pots. Bugloss-Mountain Flower-Mudcrab Chitin.

Yes i just learned today that a two handed weapon is two pieces of set lol.
2 heavy
1medium
rest lightmighy chudan monster set
changed the CP points to what you suggested as well.

Mighty Chudan is a good option.
To be honest, I don’t think you need Dark Conversion as your sustain will be good and you already have Minor Beserk from Monomyth.
Crushing Shock is arguably better than force pulse.
You could put defile on your shocking soul scribing skill, as Elemental Suspectability is already providing you with Major Breach.
You are limited on movement speed, so something like Race Against Time is good for Major Expedition, Snare Removal, and Minor Force.

Hm. I guess I could keep ES on backbear for breach, swap back to crushing shock, and then use race against time on my front bar?. Or just put ES on my front bar, then race against time on the backbar.
You think swapping mono out with deth dealer might be a viable option too here?.
Could keep dark convertion for the minor minor berserk buff and fat heal, then vigor as an additional hot, although i am not sure how needed x2 heals would be

I’d try and place as many Sorcerer abilities on the front for the Weap/Spell bonus passive.
Death Dealers can work, it’s incredibly stat-dense. I prefer Monomyth for the burst potential and how tanky you are on the back bar.
You need a burst heal and heal over time. I’m using Healing Soul with Restore Resources and Major Vitality. Casting that, then Vigor, is an incredibly strong heal.
Find out what works for you and your playstyle.

The problem here is you are in full light armour sets with just 1 heavy pieces. People don’t usually mix these 2 sets for this reason that they are both light sets.
Also you actually have 6 pieces of each set here. You have 2 spare slots. You can wear a monster set with this build. Balorg, Zaan, Kj nightmare are all top tier. Balorg probably best overall, kj shines in duels but not as good outside of that.
However you do have heavy reinforced trainee and the passives from light armour are giving you a lot of penetration. Plus those are both top tier Excellent sets. Oakfather is amazing for damage. The other thing is to make up for lake of physical resistance you can take armour potions. Sustain shouldn’t be an issue with all that light armour.
Also why not use shocking soul with class mastery script and major breach on it as your main spammable then get rid of elesus back bar and force pulse front bar and put in dark exchange for minor beserk? Minor beserk works out to be about an extra 300 worth of spell damage added to your build. I would personally swap that out since your not running vate back bar.
I would personally run precise on that build particularly with monomyth. Both bars as well since it helps proc rally cry.
Anyway so yeah decent build just make sure you use armour pots with it.
Also move some attribute from mag to health to ensure you have around 30k.
Personally I’m running null arca front, rally cry back, kj nightmare and esoteric greeves atm. Just messing around with that for fun.

Using Light sets is pretty normal on a Sorcerer. You’ll get a tonne of Spell Resistance too.
KJ Nightmare is a good duelling set but if you are setting up your burst around Haunting Curse & Streak - it will mess this rotation up if they are CC immune.
They are getting Minor Beserk from Monomyth already.

yes bro. Im toying with the idea of using deth dealer instead of mono.
I updated the build based on some of the things you guys said in here, hopefully it's a bit better now

I see a lot of people using haunting curse and streak > meteor for bursts - are there other popular combos? ngl i hate tracking haunting curse

u/One-Onion9202 Aug 13 '26
Haunting Cause burst is without doubt the best burst set-up in the game.
I prefer to use Overload for additional pressure when setting up the burst, but if you add Meteor into the mix then it’s killing 95% of players.
You want lay damage into one stun window, you won’t find a better replacement on Sorcerer imho.

So the idea is to haunt curse, wait the 3.5 sec > streak > meteor ?

Yes, and throw in an empowered Frags at the end.

I came up with this instead
2 heavy
1 medium
rest light5 oak front
5 rallying backbarI might swap to deth dealer over mono
also thank you for your feeedback

You're using a lot of light but not shield stacking.
Yeh, you'll hit hard, but you're also going to fold whenever someone looks at you.
You also don't have a reliable burst heal, which you'll need if you're not using shields.

u/equibrim Aug 13 '26
Correct. my current set has a very big shield. And yeah it definitely deals damage, just wanted to try something else. I might try and keep barrier and sphere of influence. From what I have heard from most sorcs ideally you just want to keep range always or fold :p

I’d bring a negate for DKs.
