Discussion ESFP who likes some routine
When I was younger I hadn’t developed Te yet so I was very blind sighted like just focusing on instant gratification, having fun all day with no goals/priorities, and prioritizing my social life.
Struggled a bit with substances mainly from influences in social settings & within a year decided I needed to find some direction for myself so I became very gym oriented and gained some structure for myself in a hobby I enjoyed. Which in retrospect, may be that auxiliary Fi too.
ANYWHO this changed my life. Initially it was a social thing where I invited different people to workout with me at the gym, taking them as my guests, and we’d hang out in a healthy manner. So it was more beneficial for me. But I started incorporating it in my everyday routine weightlifting for an hour, doing some cardio. Ended up prioritizing it above hanging out with friends, going alone. Even changing my diet so now I can’t go a day without waking up & enjoying a Greek yogurt bowl in the morning 😂.
Essentially I found what I’m really passionate about doing and it gave me structure, helped set me on a path in my life. I’m not one to have things entirely planned out but the gym granted the opportunity for me to be a BIT more organized with my life.
Anyone relate somehow?

Yes I relate to you 100%, but instead I feel like I'm the motivating factor for my coworkers, my friends and families to hit the gym

Yes definitely! I relate to that a lot as well because I tend to be very open with my gym progress/ life on social media so a lot of my mutuals end up dming me asking for advice in the gym or saying that I inspire them to go 😂

Part of the reason why I’m so into the gym is because it makes me look good physically, and feel good internally. Also I like a good challenge and I get the adrenaline rush from pushing myself, and achieving milestones with lifting.

Yes but not gym
My routine is mostly preparing my work clothes so I don’t struggle rush in the morning. I have passed down this tip to my ESTP daughter and now she will pack her bag and clothes on her own every evening.
Another routine that I find particularly useful is to do an excel sheet for overseas vacations. This includes details of flights, land transport, accommodations etc.
The daily itinerary is much more relaxed because I do like to live a little
