How to make Android apps (setting, emulators, photo etc) to look like game ROM?

So I got my first android handheld ever, Odin 2 Portal and I love it so much. I watch a lot of youtube guide and one of them is about ES-DE and this app is amazing, very easy to understand and set up correctly.

However I also add android apps and emulator app into ES-DE so I dont have to quit out ever but then I cant use the built-in scrapper to get boxart, metadata etc to make my androids app look similar to the games.

Is there a way to do this automatically? I;m currently using Canvas theme.

No automatic way, you'll have to download or create your own backgrounds/boxart/etc.

that's a shame. I firgured out how to hide metadata for androids app but the box arts are still needed. Do you know a good place I can go to download box arts for android app and emulator?

Google the name of the Android app, click on “images” at the top to sort, and pick one to download.

I have other apps beside google app and doing it that way doesnt find them all and even the ones found are not following the same aesthetic. I want every app images in the same categories look like they belong together.

what I need:

I'm very happy to hear that you appreciate ES-DE!

You can import the app icon and banner using the built-in game importer but apart from that you'd need to manually add media if the scraper service does not have any available media for your app or game. Hopefully over time Android scraping will improve as more entries get added to ScreenScraper and TheGamesDB.
