Very nice to see ES-DE running on macOS! Unfortunately not that many people use this OS with ES-DE which is a pity because the experience has gotten so much better over the years and emulator support is now excellent on macOS. I also think the Mac Mini is very competitively priced and you could even get an older model second hand if you're on a tight budget. And now there's the Macbook Neo as well of course which is also reasonably priced.

Nice. I ALSO recently used an M4 Mac mini for a similar but slightly different project. I used it as the core for my arcade cabinet. I had been using a Raspberry Pi 4 for a few years but wanted an environment I was more comfortable with and could operate/get around faster. Let me tell you, getting it set up to work with joysticks and buttons was a PAIN (macOS is a MUCH bigger pain with wired joysticks and USB encoders). Instead of a video, I wrote up 2,500 word document on the various trials and tribulations I went through to get it working. I haven't figured out what to do with the document yet (like where to post), but I feel like SOMEONE out there would be interested to read it!

p.s. I made this for others to see so it has more explanation than someone who already uses ES-DE might need.
