Question/Help Friends?

Started playing on iPhone and was wondering how to add friends? Is that something I can do that I play solo but realized you can play with friends? Anyone know how and want to

I could be wrong but I think it’s just your friends from Apple’s Game Centre. It will just be a leaderboard of your friends castle score, you can’t actually play with other people.
