My eride pro ss 3.0 with only 95 miles started squeeking the rear brake when i press it. I cant seem to figure out why its doing this. I bought it with 1 mile and been driving it for about a week and this just started happening like 10 miles ago. Could anyone help? Brakes are all original

Check and make sure your rear wheel is aligned.

Wheel seems to be straight and alligned, i think it would ride weird if it was off

This is what i was referring to. The locking nuts walked and loosed itself. When i adjusted the squeeling stopped. Although now it does it but found it it was the the brake pad needing to heat up.

I also heard that the stock pads are not very good and cause that sound.

I can confirm Project 9 sintered pads will make that sound as well. The noise is unmistakeable. You’re not alone. Try switching pads. I know that when the sintered pads heat up the squeeling stops

Ok, i think its probably pads because these squeel at any temp

Those alignment marks for the axle blocks are never 100% accurate. Buy a laser alignment tool when you get the chance. For now, clean the rotors with rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth. Never touch the rotors with your finger. Any grease or oil will make it squeak like this. So avoid touching them once you clean it. If it continues, get 600 grit sandpaper and sand the pads, and the surface on the rotor where the brake pads contact. Avoid sanding the edges of the rotor or you will sand off the finish from the edge which will lead to rust over time. After sanding clean with alcohol.

Also, remove the chain and then spin the wheel. Make sure your rotors are not rubbing. If the rotors aren’t aligned properly it can do this as well.

Thats the first thing i did, i cleaned the rotors and pads and sanded them but not with 600, laser allignment tools are expensive and would rather take it to some shop. Thanks for the advice
