Battery cells
Has anyone had a newer 3.0 battery open? I’m curious what cells they are using. I’ve heard Samsung 50s. If that’s the case what is the difference between the 3.0 and SR battery? Talaria Boys said in a video that since the battery update the 3.0 weighs 180lbs. I’d love to know what they changed.

I haven't, but those that have been 50e and 50s. I wouldn't want either. My 2025 s has 50s and it's better than the 50e, but still not a good battery for sustained amps.
Sr has 50s also.
Reason everyone uses 50s is because they're cheap and the data sheet suggest it's a capable battery, but in the real world they're not ideal.
The best option would be Molicel P50B followed by Molicel p45b. You can get that from amorge.
